Fills me with a little more confidence... Still gonna give it a few games before passing judgement

I never feel we necessarily need an known name, or an impressive CV
  • Can’t see what difference a manager, director of football, ceo would make without investment in the first team.
  • Hayes is embarrassingly out of his depth but, in all seriousness, until the ownership issue is resolved Pep could decide he fancies a challenge and it would make no difference. Dean Holden, Amanda Holden, Noddy Holder…..I couldn’t really give a toss. The handcart is approaching for the journey to hell……….

Noddy Holder might be an option.
    Well it is Christmas
  • Andy Scott would not come here to source free transfers from div 2
No, he's probably been told he'll be sourcing a Champions League squad within 5 years
  • So what is the news us fans are meant to be excited about, this big announcement, surely not what is being mentioned

  • If it's a short term appointment while a takeover happens, then fine. If this is Sandgaard having another crack then I'm out!
  • Presume Scott coming in will see the end of Gallen.
  • @deanholdenuk we had him as a coach at Stoke and he was not only a superb coach who bought some of the best young players through, was also a top genuine bloke. He is dignified and professional to the end. If it's true. Good luck Dean, you'll smash it.
Mmmm, where have i seen that before...🤔🙄

Personally going to wait until I can see more of the picture. There is clearly much more going on.

Exactly, seems very odd that a premier league level recruiter would drop down to league 1. Maybe for more responsibility? But I can’t see him wanting to work with the budget cuts we’ve seen this season

    Where?

    He just got sacked.
  • If it is Holden, he starts with a clean slate IMO and I hope he can change our fortunes for the better with what's available to him. I won't prejudge him as he's an unknown to me, but if he can get us to finish top half, he'll have done well IMO.

    Where?

He just got sacked from the Championship and never held a Premier League post?
Forest sacked him on 11th October 2022...

Yeah couple of months late I suppose. 2 months is bags of experience.

Two months is still longer than never holding a Premier League post

As a director of football he's held zero posts. Even better.

Didnt think I was arguing that point...?
  • Holden sounds a bit like Oldham. Look where they are now.
