For me, Clare who is a seasoned professional and captain, scuffing the penalty spot to try and stop a Stockport player scoring, is a new low even for us.
That is not the values we expect from our club.
It shows how infested we are with an awful culture, real desperation and wretchedness.

That second half performance was one, of a demoralised team. I fear that Stockport will be replacing us in league 1.

Hayes would have been told he either takes the team or doesn't get paid. Nobody in their right mind would 'want' that job - even as a caretaker.

Without doubt in the 46 years I have watched my beloved club tonight was one of the worst performances by a Charlton team, the club is now soulless, has no identity, no passion, no connections with the fans…absolutely awful5
