£180 for 2 tickets, for 30 overs and Dec missed the wicket nipping to the loo. No refunds. Thanks spinners. (Umpires)
The refund policy for Test match is awful, when you consider how much tickets cost AND how much money the grounds make from spectators during rain breaks from sales of food and drink
Here’s a scenario… we get a decent half day of play. England bowl out the Aussies for about 70 more runs in 25 overs.
During the break between innings, the sky darkens and it rains a bit but nothing torrential. The rain is cleared up by 5:30pm and it’s looking promising. Duckett and Crawley head out to the middle, ready to chase the target of 10 runs.
The umpires meanwhile have determined that there’s not enough light to bowl pace. The Australians see an opportunity. They refuse to bowl spin only and thus sit out the rest of the Test match for a draw.

The umpires got that, and a lot of other things wrong yesterday. If Wood wasn't going to bowl I don't think it would have been dangerous. Anderson and Woakes pitching it up isn't dangerous.
