  • I’d wait for some announcement, find it odd 1,400 tickets went within 2 mins of general sale
    I doubt there were1,400 at 2pm.
That’s why I said wait for an announcement, might be a system glitch. Club said at 1.30pm 6,016 had been sold
  • Our day tripping glory boy numbers have really  improved as of late .
In. the year 2146 three years after our return to the Prem we won’t even muster 1k for Old Trafford when we actually have a chance of winning

Well I am in the Utd West Stand behind the goal, international suite.  open 3 hours before the game, lounge access, free tee, coffee and biscuits half time.
    £44 a person
NO Charlton fans will be admitted
Lucky I am from Derbyshire now

    Needs must!

    Red Army !

Just make sure you where a baggy track suit and tell everyone your Mad Fer It. Everyone will be none the wiser.
  • Were the ‘general sale’ tickets only available to people with a purchase history or for anyone ?
  • Largest away sale since 1994 (which at 10,500 was the biggest ticketed in the club’s history excluding neutral grounds AFAIK).
Didn't we take 8k plus to Middlesbrough in the cup quarters in 2004 ish
  • Wasn't there a bigger maximum allocation we could take?

You'd need a fan ID, but general sale is that... open to anyone.
  • So the way to do was to log on via the main website then go to away games and follow the link.

The login system on the ticket portal was fucked.

Lots of Charlton youth going with their miserable parent apparently 😀

Don’t think we took over 6k to that
  • Slightly stressed as I’m way down the pecking order these days but tickets bought on general sale

Opted for post as can’t be arsed with the hour drive up but  presumably more likely I’ll be picking them up at OT on Tuesday

Albert Schlosch for the after party 🕺
    great bar and it's huge
I'll second that, had many fantastic nights out at Alberts

please choose me if you need to offload
  • Will be a great day out, we got battered at Fulham in the FA Cup a few years ago and the atmosphere was still top notch.

2006 -  need to go back and check but I think it was a bit less than that.
  • I couldn't manage it on my laptop, but got them straight away using my phone - worth a try for anyone who still needs one
  • Have the tickets really sold out or could it be there's tickets being held in baskets until bought/released? I'm sure this happened in the play off season?
  • had tickets a couple of times but didn't work in the end

Tickets are held for 45mins so I would say you could be correct.
  • Looks like they are back on sale …

Apparently some saying got an e mail saying going on general sale at 1.45pm.
    Don't know if true.
  • Still a few left.

    Wasn't Wimbledon in '99 11k?

Must be the largest mid week away sale ever.

2 tickets per person = 700 purchasers - I reckon we'd be surprised at the number of (genuine) CAFC fans who don't frequent the Valley week in week out and thus didn't qualify for the earlier releases.  Extended family members of mine (who live all over the place) would have been 6 of those tickets sold today.  Our current league attendances don't reflect our size...
