Would loved to have seen him and Taylor in the same team. Missed each other by a season either way? Would have been a memorable feast of goals as they fed off each other.
Both played for us in the Championship and both played for Cambridge last year

Didn't they both play in the Championship - 19/20 season ??
Some similarities with Pritchard’s fall back to non-league. Both had good seasons in terms of their stats (goals for Bonne, assists for Pritchard), but neither were able to repeat it.
The major difference being that Pritchard was, and is, a thoroughly nice chap, who seemed to really appreciate the fact that he had the opportunity to play for us, and to be involved in football in general.

The season Bonne had double figures in the Championship I remember Taylor doing an assist for Bonne but they hardly played in the same team. After COVID Bonne looked unfit for the last 9 matches and Taylor went AWOL.
The saddest thing is despite the Opprobrium directed at Macaulay Bonne, he still manages to score against CAFC when playing for Gillingham and Orient. 🤷🏻♂️
... How did he score 11 in 33 in the Championship with us that season?!
I’d say 10. His first against Leeds bounced off his arse by accident.
Are you sure that wasn't Josh Davison who scored his first goal against Leeds when laying down and we scored after the ball went in off his arse down the Jimmy Seed end in a 1-0 win when we were under the cosh for the whole game.

Hasn’t scored for Southend and the fans have already turned on him. He’s 28 now at his peak so could get a lucrative January move to The Dog And Duck second 11.
Particularly like this comment from their fans forum:
Bonne. An ex championship player who commanded a fee of reportedly 2 million.
A player of his quality at this level should stand out. He has, but only because he has been abysmal. In fact, I'd say his performances are insulting to the club and fans. Rsf 2. Completely abject, disinterested and needs to be dropped for Pebble who looks like he actually wants to play. Even in his joining interview he looked like he'd won the boobie prize by joining.
I don't know what it is about him but he's just a very annoying person who draws anger. Even when he's scoring he winds his own fans up and I can't remember a player like him where every single set of fans has turned on him before he's even left. Thinking about it, Taylor and Bonne might have been one of the most unlikeable front twos in Football League history

But he is going in the right direction.
