Undoubtedly, but it feels a lot more like duty than pleasure these days. Constant transport issues over the last year or more have really tested my resilience too. Poodling up and back from Dorset on unreliable overpriced trains at almost 70 years old, just to watch mediocre third division shit must be some sort of definition of madness.
I'm only willing to put money into the club to keep it going if we're playing decent sized clubs and get to play the likes of Man U in cups more often.
I don't wish to be watching the likes of Fleetwood & Accrington Stanley & think my club is better served moaning on CL about why we aren't higher up the football league and playing those clubs with bigger attendances than us
So what are decent sized clubs. I would have thought Portsmouth, Sheffield Wednesdsy, Derby are decent sized clubs. If playing Man U is what is important. Then you would go to any prem Club to do so. No supporting a club is seeing it through thick and thin and thinner if need be and thst includes spending money on the club.
No. I am a season ticket holder at present, but living 170 miles away and soon to be 76 years old, i really do not have the inclination or burning desire to go and watch the dross that has been seved up this season. If Banjo boy does not have the desire why should I? If there were to be new owners I will need a lot of convincing to renew, I have been let down so many times.
Arthritis, old age, and a four hour journey are poor excuses for not attending. Be ashamed.
I'm not a season ticket holder and haven't been for many years. That won't change regardless, but if I want to watch Charlton play at the Valley, I'll pay the entrance fee and go. The owner is irrelevant to my decision, but I would never criticise other fans for whom it is an issue that influences their decision.
Yes - in the hope that things will change eventually. Mine is a low-cost ticket that is (currently) affordable albeit I've not been attending much since the first few games of the season due to the uninspiring performances and my access to the live stream. My enthusiasm has diminished significantly this year though and I've missed more games this season through apathy than ever before.
Prior to this season i had missed 1 home game in 24 years (2-2 draw against Swindon) when none of my work mates would cover me. This year I have missed about 5 due to illness, train strikes etc. The fact that i missed those games didn't bother me and i felt a bit alienated from that view considering my previous record.
I went through the same last year in renewing late (but within the early bird discount. This year will at least probably do the same or even wait. I sit in East Stand block D which is expensive for what's on offer, i may move to a cheaper section perhaps for a morale victory against TS.
Interesting times but I feel the committed will purchase regardless of ownership and in some ways I'm pleased they do, simply because their commitment is for the club and they are able to separate that from the poor ownership with which we seem to be blighted with.
I toyed with the idea of getting a season ticket this year - but wasn’t sure how often I would be able to attend. Given that I could probably make most of the home games in the back half of the season I almost bought a season ticket for the rest of 22/23.
Having been through the Duchatet boycott, not sure if I can do that for Sandgaard - at least not yet. He’s chite, but we haven’t got to the point of protesting outside his house yet.
What is going to keep me away is the team’s performance. There is no point in turning up to watch dire games like that on Saturday against Fleetwood, and I’m glad my journey is only about 45 minutes each way.
I’m sure I will get criticism for being a “fair weather supporter”, but in all reality, I’d rather spend my money on something I get to enjoy.

Will be interesting to learn what are the successor/s plans for this issue.

I do not know what I would like to receive the least. My season ticket or my energy bill.

And the answer is always yes.
