  • Bolton 0 Ipswich 1
  • Shrews 2-1
  • Great clearaance from Hector... Sets CBT on his way with Leaburn and JRS in support

The cross to JRS at the back post gets cut out by their CB
  • Ashilaja off for Burton
  • HT 1-1..our game saved by a worldie from Sess, nothing apart from that in the first half, would love to see Kanu second half to give Leaburn some support
  • HT 1-1
  • Our one bright spark is leaving in the summer. Rest look poor.

  • Henry or Albie on at half time please. At least they offer the possibility that they might pick a pass. Has Kilkenny touched the ball?
  • If you stopped at any local park while walking your dog on a Sunday morning and paused for a moment to watch a game of kids football you would witness more skill and technique than in that half.
  • Pigeons currently look like they're having a CharltonLife style meeting in the Jimmy Seed / West Stand corner
Never really noticed them before but today they are in good form.
  • Knew I'd miss something special if I didnt go.

We dont score tap ins do we.
  • Still 16th, nine points off bottom four, 21 points off playoffs. Come on Charlton, three points and we could cut that 21 points down 🤣
  • Kilkenny utter waste of space. Strangely, nobody else is having a poor game but collectively we don't click.

We kinda have mostly a squad to play a 4-3-3, but we can’t play a 4-3-3 very well.

Our midfield, and I include Dobson in this, are just not mobile enough, and our defence gets pulled out of position far to easily.

And going forwards we just can never find a way of utilising our striker, so today a lot has depended on CBT who is amazing and getting into good positions, but mainly woeful at doing something with it when he does.
  • Awful, awful first 45, only saved by a wonderful strike from Sess. Playing against a rookie keeper and we don't shoot.

CBT is wasteful, and Leaburn not contributing. JRS struggling to get involved but he has had poor service.

Dobson is having a poor game by his standards, and Kilkenny anonymous.

Clare is mixing the sublime with the ridiculous and was culpable for their goal (as was Sess).

Only Hector and Payne really look okay.

We have to improve and I hope to see Morgan on to provide impetus, with Kanu and Campbell later.

We can still win this! COYA!

He's played 78-games for Accrington (been their first choice the last two years when they've finished mid-table)...

    15 this season...

  • Sess saves the team from an ugly reaction at HT, we REALLY needed that.

    Ridiculous goal

    That was liquid football

Watching the rerun of their goal, and yet another gift with 4 defenders ball watching, giving their guy a free header..just crap defending..🙄
  • Best effort on the Crossbar Challenge for a while, that actually got off the ground and wasn't too far away from the woodwork.

The scary thing is, that segment on The Day Today was almost 30 years ago.
  • Only been listening on CATV, but just seen Sess goal on twitter....bloody hell what a strike! That was better, just, than Clares strike earlier in the season.
  • I think we'll be safe just because there are at least 4 worse teams than us.

You're probably right but for much of that first half wouldn't have agreed with you.
  • Second half underway, no changes.

Still 1-1, still cold, still shit football.
  • Here comes the 2nd half... Kilkenny set to KO

    Are you EXCITED???
