A dominating performance saw Charlton take three points on their travels. Shame, a lapse in concentration spoiled the clean sheet. That’s all there is to say!
Great win, thoroughly deserved, anyone else noticed, Leaburns goal, the finish just reminded me of Super Clives' hat trick chest and volley goal at Wembley...magnificent execution..
A dominating performance rewarded, for once, by three goals which gave us a comfortable cushion at the break. Morecambe improved in the second half but we only really wobbled briefly when some poor defending gifted them a glimmer of hope. A great move and final goal from Scott Fraser settled us down again and we ran out convincing winners.
Virtually the whole team did well but special mentions for Sean Clare and Tyreece Campbell. Clare gets some justified stick but was excellent tonight; Campbell had a brilliant first half out on the right and made the third goal beautifully before tiring and fading.
Lovely to watch a Charlton win and, just as importantly, a strong all round team display.
Morecambe are one of the poorer sides in this division, but we had to play well to make them look it, and play well we did.
However doom and gloom it is, it’s just nice to watch us win - especially when we have some of our fantastic youth talent on show.
Mentioned it in the contract renewal thread, but I think Hector is getting better and better each game - and he continued that trend today. If we can keep him next year, I’ll be happy, but I think he will potentially end up in the division above.
Didn't think we were seriously in danger of a relegation battle and tonight proved that. There are still teams that are far worse than us in this division.
That said, it's not very fun to be looking at back to back 12th/13th place finishes in this dire league.
Glad to see Tyreece and all the other youngsters on the pitch starting and there seem to be a bit more enthusiasm about our play. Clare is our most creative player by some margin. Morgan played well, but then he always does when we’re winning. Feeling more of relief than elation. It would take a few more games like that to make me start to enjoy watching Charlton.
Mentioned in the match thread that it was peak CBT. Also thought it was peak Ryan Inniss.
Had Niasse in his pocket so much so he had to move over to the left, didn’t let anyone get anywhere near the edge of our box, looked untouchable from attacking set pieces - made a stupid mistake which led to a goal.
Curbs says praps alot and brown frowns and suggests why defensively Morecambe let them self's down. Brief mention of us and how good B-T is for running around doing next to nought.
Thought that's the best weve played in months. Really enjoyed watching that, and great to see our home grown youngsters doing well. However icing on the cake for me was seeing Egbo back, he, in my mind is class. Clare has a very good game as did Hector, hope we keep him next season. Decent nights sleep tonight for once!

Easier to play on a good pitch rather than at the Valley
Only minus, Innis thinking he can back heel ffs 🙄🫣😩
Delighted for Miles & Scott.
Hope CBT was precautionary.
And great to see Egbo back.
Marvellous ♥️
