    MK Dons 2 Charlton 0
The early summer holidays continue and Eisa banks himself a brace.
  • I wonder if Scotty Fraser will be laughing at the end of the match?
  • Be good if Fraser was dropped.  Would imagine he thinks he’s nailed on for being part of the first xi next season
  • Fact we have nothing to play for as such after Saturdays performance would most definitely like Holden to drop at least 4/5 of them to give others a chance maybe even change the formation too
                        AMB
     Kane.  Mitchell. Hector. Thomas
     Rak-sakyi Henry. Dobson Payne
                Kanu. Leaburn

    subs
Jojo egbo sess Campbell Fraser Morgan bonne

Not in order, but if Fraser plays tomorrow, he will have played his 3 previous clubs in 3 consecutive games (Burton, Ipswich, MKD) which must be pretty unique

    Who for?
There's no better midfielder in the squad that isn't first team (and I'm not a fan btw).

I like this team, if Sess is fit enough he should start ahead of Kane but other than that it would be good to give the minutes to Mitchell, Henry and Kanu.

Good point.  More of a statement.  But yes, you’re right, I can’t think of anyone.  Holden probably (hopefully) would want to drop quite a few after Saturday
  • Never under-estimate our ability to follow a tanking up with another one. Players have thrown the towel in and despite what Dean Holden says, I can't see us bouncing back after Saturday with a victory. At least we won't have to risk another Inniss clanger. For the first time this season I would bother watching it on TV. Saturday's humiliation was it for me until August.
  • It doesn't bother me that Fraser laughed, we don't know the context, but it does that he seems to lack energy. He is a very good player for the level and I wonder if it is because he isn't trying hard enough or not fit enough. Id he possibly carrying an injury? We certainly need to do something about this in the summer as he ought to be a key player for us next season..

  • Hard to relate to a team where a lot of the players don't seem to care. Losing 6-0 in L1 is pretty shocking.

  • I will be devoting as much energy and passion to this fixture as the owner and match day squad.

So if they put in a stellar performance and effort, you will too?
  • Good on all our support who still have it in them to go tonight wish I did but sadly haven't
Hope the team turn up  give it a real go & get the win
Going for a 2-1 win to us
Come On You Reds let's do this  B)

  • Can you get tickets on the night? Only live 10 minutes away. Trying to find some encouragement inside me somewhere to go along

I will certainly try to stay awake for the first half.

I'm pretty sure you can. I remember on my previous visit, despite the stadium being cashless inside, you could only buy tickets on the day with cash, which seemed bizarre!

You will get a ticket easy enough phone Charlton & arrange pick up at the game

Well that explains it and he gets a free pass from me. Hopefully fully fit next season and it will be like a new signing.

As if the prospect of watching the stream wasn't enticing enough already

That article was from a year ago. Surely we would be up to speed by now?

I've always suspected his lack of energy is down to covid/long covid, added to be an asthmatic.
  • I have the stream and just can't bring myself to watch it. I don't want to spoil my night watching Bonne and chums.

    #Sandgaardout

  • I've got something else on tonight, so won't be able to watch the stream but, with Karl Robinson co-commentating alongside Terry, I'm guessing there won't be too many pregnant silences. I suppose there's even a prospect that the referee's eyesight and judgment will be called into question.

An interesting game for Karl Robinson - as well as having managed both clubs, it's a very important one for the club that just sacked him, Oxford, who have been dropping like a stone.

    What about him being asthmatic?
  • Wow 700 brave souls going to this one? Or maybe they bought tickets and will not turn up. MK 8 games unbeaten? Not looking good. Saturday really was a statement from the team, from the owner and from our club. Really hurt. Today surely will not be as bad but who knows? 2-0 MK.
