The ‘leave a gift in your will’ one for dementia or whatever it is. As previously mentioned it’s disgusting to ask people for money when they die full stop, but the advert doesn’t even make sense. He says “no one asks to forget who their loved ones are” etc and then says “but you could change that”. What, change it so that people do start asking?!
I applied for a job with Age UK a few years ago. I couldn't believe the extent to which they were basically a front for the life insurance industry. At the interview strategies for maximising income from LI was all they really wanted to talk about.

Alzheimer's Society running the campaign again, voice is Colin Firth. I came on here to post this as I've been hearing it a lot again recently.
It's the advert I hate more than any other and has made me vow to never give a penny to them. Until recently I worked for a dementia wellbeing company (based around promoting independence and joy through someone's entire dementia journey) and everyone thought it was poor, but it really impacted me.
I lost my dad 7 years ago to early onset dementia, he was only 58 and had been ill for 6 years. The idea of someone in the early stages of dementia hearing that advert, as well as the other one they have where they talk about people "dying many times" upset me a lot the first time and still does every time I hear it. That's as well as family members who know that their loved one is at the foothills of what is a terrible journey, but one that can have moments that are positive and joyful, but instead they completely disregard those people, the people they should be representing in a shameless money grab. They will be causing anxiety and panic in people already going through a terrible time, and that is inexcusable in my book.
We also partnered a lot with Alzheimer's Research UK, who in my opinion were a lot more about fighting the good fight rather than accumulating as much cash as possible.

100% agree this really pisses Mrs H off.....me to....her mum passed away earlier in the year...she had Alzheimers.
Strikes me that adverts, TV adverts especially, are an irrelevance. Anything I want to watch on a commercial channel, I schedule on the PVR and skip all the ads. Two presses on the >> key and they're gone. Similarly with 'radio', just about everything is available to download or stream and any ads get skipped.
Most adverts these days, especially those aimed at corporate types (normally shown around F1 and Golf shows) just have to mention AI…. basically a way of saying they can streamline and make people redundant.

Presumably due to TikTok but…..
Doing the ironing, hoovering, selling your car?
Why not prance around like a c***?
Ten years ago if you saw one of these adverts you’d think wtf!
Not sure I hate the ad but we've all been out with people like that.
