Technically he left us. We offered him a new contract.LargeAddick said:
We have cut him loose.Dazzler21 said:I've heard things. He's definitely got great raw natural talent, but I think he struggles with a lot of very basic instructions... He won't make the step up at least not without excessive levels of handholding - I don't think we should do that if it hinders other prospects and as a result, I don't think we should keep him. I'd hope we cut him loose.4 -

I was told he has very strong family links - its typical of his community.
If, as was suggested, his agent was a family member then it would be astonishing if he got the adequate level of care and would probably have been very hard to negotiate with.
Whenever I watched him I was never overly impressed with his all round game but he was a hell of an instinctive finisher.12 -
@Dazzler21 is absolutely right. There's a fair amount of speculation on this thread and all I'll say is, PC comes from a very different background to all of us, and the people around him are probably not very well versed in how all of this works. I doubt he's had bad advice, it's more likely he didn't have any advice at all. Edit - didn't see Swisdom's post before I posted. Pretty much nailed it.

I didnt want to say anything as wasnt aware if "his community" was public knowledge but pretty much every thing you have written is correct.Swisdom said:I was told he has very strong family links - its typical of his community.

Such a waste. I don't think his game is good enough to hit the very top but I have no doubt he could have made some decent money because goalscorers are as rare as a rocking horse pooRadostanradical said:

It's out there. I've seen it shared by Ireland fan accounts on Twitter.1

Saw him live in the NLS last season and his play around the box reminded me of a less refined Godden , natural finisher that maybe doesn't offer that much outside the 18 yard box but if the ball drops to him he's burying it.Swisdom said:

Shame if a lack of advice has cost him because I'm sure someone in the National League or NLS would have taken a gamble on his attributes.0 -
Sad that playing for us is so depressing he'd rather not play professional football at all2

We haven't if we are demanding payment for his developmentLargeAddick said:

And yet, if you read Richard Cawley’s piece today on TC, what you have described above is almost exactly the story of Tyreece’s journey through the academy and youth football. Everyone, not just players, is different and requires different handling to bring out their potential. Some need space, like it sounds TC did. Some clubs might have shown him the door for his reported behaviour, but we recognised his desire to play and be better.Dazzler21 said:I've heard things. Hes a bloody good player - he scored hatfuls of goals at every level for Charlton and I watched him at Dorking where he was excellent and several levels above the Conference South
His injury cost Dorking promotion
He should be playing in League 2 and it’s a real shame that he isn’t playing2 -
Wonder whether Marc might be interested in taking him again ?alburyaddick said:Hes a bloody good player - he scored hatfuls of goals at every level for Charlton and I watched him at Dorking where he was excellent and several levels above the Conference South

I thought he might before he got Rogalski. He needs wingers now that Harry Forster is out for a year, so if there's any budget that's where I reckon it will go.1

What's the big secret? He in the Freemasons or something?Radostanradical said:

As @chunes has mentioned its public knowledge its not really a secret, he is from the travelling community, I wasnt aware it was public knowledge so didnt want to say as ypu typically get some idiotic comments when you mention the travelling community.Major said:

He has a really unfortunate name, doesn't he. Black out some letters and there's the slur. Feel a bit sorry for him, but only because of this0
