Would it really matter if the games were shown at 3.00 on Saturday as planned? Would have virtually no affect on other attendances

Whist on the face of it it seems odd, especially as they are usually midday on a Sunday, the fixture has been a complete bubble trip /nothing event for years. Any issues will be the town centres of the respective teams, rather than at or around the fixture I would think.

I was thinking more about the costs for fans. Given those kick off times, I’d have thought away fans would have to arrange to stay over before or after the games in order to attend.

I think Sky usually only pick L1 and L2 games when the Championship isn't playing, e.g. international breaks and the 3rd and 4th rounds of the FA Cup?
