I'm assuming that if it's just a random local keeper, then he won't come on anyway, as he'll only be there in case Isted is injured.

The only reason to rotate your keeper in pre-season is to give more than one some game time, so I assume if the trialist is a keeper he's just there in case Isted gets injured or sent off
