the chap who resembles Ric Flair is my father, Keith and the guy next to him “trying to hide” is yours truly. We were invited as guests of Tracey because of the work we do for the club and for previous sponsorship etc.Is Oxfordshire some form of ‘Sports Professional Valley’0 -
Probably depends on how the first 2-3 years go.NabySarr said:
Yep this is where I am at the moment. Short term we have a much better chance of doing well for the next 2-3 years but will be interested to hear the long term plan if there is oneSmithy said:Still feeling very uneasy about our long term future but I have to say I'm feeling quite optimistic about this season at least.0 -

It looks like he'll be following Charlie and working at Charlton in some capacity.

Who are they? What do we know about them? What does Airman think? Am I supposed to like them or hate them?

Simple answer no.. He only getting a thank you small percentage of shares around 5%, said many times he not been leading this takeover and will not have any say in the day to day running of the club that will be down to Rodwell in the UK and JF and Brener in the USA .charltonbob said:
& seeing that Methven was nothing to do with the takeover what is he doing there & will he be playing any part in the running of the club when the people who are taking it over, actually take it over ?RonnieMoore said:
Thats Rodwell who will be replacing Storrie and running the club on a day to day basisThe Red Robin said:
Didn’t know Gerry Adams was a Charlton fan. Is he the celeb we were trying to guess?charlton_hero said:

He can’t help himself. Methven will be more involved than you’re making out.RonnieMoore said:

I wouldn’t describe 5% as small (if you are correct) given the rumoured £10m purchase price. That to me is still a very reasonable level of interest in how we proceed / how successful we are.0 -
It's either done and not announced for whatever reason or very close.se9addick said:So this is day three of “today’s the day”.
sangaards have gone, new board members are watching games and we are now shopping outside of Swindon.2 -

The club can confirm that the takeover by SE7 Partners has received the required clearance from both the EFL and FA.
The clearance brings to an end weeks of work by Peter Storrie and his supporting team at the club along with help from the buyers and Thomas Sandgaard.
Following the clearance there now remains a few standard legal procedures to conclude, which may take a number of days, before the takeover is fully completed.
The club and SE7 Partners group, who agreed a deal to purchase Charlton in June, will communicate with supporters as soon as the takeover is fully completed.

Formal takeover announcements are overrated anyway.
Who needs public displays of hubris and a hat full of cliches.

Can someone explain how it can all be approved by the EFL and FA, but not be done yet. What sort of paperwork needs to be signed off, and is this normal procedure for a normal take over to have a timeline like this?0
-
I’m assuming this is linked to there being so many parties in different parts of the world?0
-
Ooh, does that mean we can see @PragueAddick ‘s interview now? Pretty please!0
