I would have thought any new investor would want to see we will still be a championship team next season so will soft pedal for a few months now. If we were 10th+ someone might have taken a punt but a few points off the bottom 3 and on a rotten run I am not sure there would be a great rush.Rudders22 said:any more news about the potential new investors please or the board? A question for those who might be aware, the current share holders are selling a 20% stake in the company that owns the club. So what level of share ownership would the EFL fit and proper persons regulations come into play or the IFO take a look.0

If our owners were sold a dream of Championship by next season and an ability to cut losses to £2M once there, will they hang around if we are relegated having seen the cut of losses was nonsense and being back in L1 so behind schedule in that outcome.... rhetorical really as only they know the answer.

Would they have been that naive to have believed it, as they weren’t all new to sports club ownership? Surely they would have weighed up the pros and cons. I think any new investment will be bolstering the coffers , the main 3 are all very wealthy in their own right but that extra investment will be crucial if we stay up in terms of competing with the next tier of clubs in terms of spending and moving away from the likes of Oxford and Pompey.3
