I do agree that what is described as ‘food’ served at all levels at the Valley from stalls and vans to the poshest bit of the rich people’s lounges looks disgusting, and in my limited experience is either not there, or not properly cooked, or way overpriced.
OK bring on the piss taking/hatred.3 -

I rarely, if every buy food at the Valley but agree that if I was a vegetarian I would be wary of promises about different grills and oils.4 -
Sent my daughter and her friend to get something to eat in the fans bar Saturday and they came back and said they couldn’t get anything because the WiFi was down so couldn’t accept cards, sent her back with cash, came back 2 minutes later to say they don’t accept cash.Really helpful!12

Mr F had the same experience soon after opening - was served his chips & his DIY cuppa , albeit with no cups in sight - and then told "pay later" !
In addition, our Coventry friend who was one of the first up at the bar, asked for 2 bottles of beer & 2 glasses as usual. Both pint glasses were clearly dirty which he told the young server. Then was offered 2 more with the words " This is the best I can do at the moment" !
What a way to run a business !2 -
Perhaps there is a way of generally doing less, but what does get done gets done brilliantly.0

I don't blame the young servers but those who "train" them/show them the ropes who presumably work directly for G & G.
Where was the Supervisor or Manager when the doors opened at 12.05 last Saturday ?2 -

Had a couple of the cocktails last home game, might buy the 10 drink offer. Could definitely do with some ice though as the drinks were quite warm.1

I hope they never actually improve the service in Crossbars (does anyone actually call it the “Fans Bar”?). I think the utter chaos is part of the charm.4
