Had to leave Bartrams at 2pm as it was rammed, air con got turned on after a few people asked lol. First time I've been in there for years, miss it looking like a sports bar with TVs in the booths.

Strange choice, it's roasting hot again again Bartrams is rammed with anywhere near 100 people.

The match is a 1230 kick off, so makes sense.

I emailed the club yesterday and got a response today. I like to plan prematch drinks well in advance as watching Charlton sober is too much to bear!

Is the meantime fans bar the old fans bar/Crossbars? These constant name changes get confusing

    Correct.

But they will have a pop up bar at the Fan Zone so you can drink and sit outside.

Getting smashed in Crossbars at 10:30am would represent a new low point in my life.
But watching the game without the liquid courage to put on a Charlton to win, Over 2 goals, Under 13 corners and The Doc to score anytime would be a low point of mine.

Tbf, after banging on about how good chicken george is, wings and a pint in the sun does make more sense.

Went in Bartram's the other night, couple of people looking gormless behind the bar so gave up. Decided to try the beer in the North Stand. Had an awful pint of Grolsh whch they took £6.20 for the pleasure.

Both fans bar and the other hostelries within the stadium are just awful

tbh at least fans bar isnt a furnace and you dont have to sit on stairs if youre later than the first 30 people. Bartrams also now looks half decorated and was better when it was an actual sports bar

The bar service in the covered end on Tuesday was a total and utter shambles. They had just two tills open and people were ordering food, so took ages.

2 for £6 after a win sounds like a good deal. Perfect for the train home 😀

To be fair, I didn’t say it wasn’t up for it!

The guy that was serving at the till to the right as you look at them was wandering down to the other till to pour pints before the game

One choice of food in the north stand . Manky hot dogs that have been sat out to dry with topping already added . Nothing else whatsoever apart fruit pastilles and that was a hour before kick off so they couldn't have run out of food . This club is a joke at times .

Yes the covered end - blah blah - which is ironic as they don’t cover the one item of food they sell
