Really sad reading that, especially the part about the doctor trying to see how much they could fleece him for.
Addiction is a horrible thing.
Heard on BBC news that he paid $2000 for a $12 dose. Typical vultures taking advantage of his addiction desperation. I once worked with an ex Heroin addict. He said he would agree a price and meet location on the phone, and the dealer would turn up hours late on purpose leading to him clucking so much that he would eventually agree to pay more money for less of the substance.
The last Whitney Houston dealer was known. He argued that if he didn't supply her there was a queue of others who would have so she'd consume the drugs anyway.
Sadly Hollywood is full of dealer/Dr's with subscription pads waiting to serve the messed up celebrities, many have more money than sense and no one they can trust.
Michael Jackson's Dr was on $90000 per month so of course would give his client what he wanted when he demanded to safeguard his income.
