And who, pray tell is buying a player that's injured until April?

Not a chance anyone will go for Miles before the summer , if not late in the summer window . Sides will want to make sure he's fully over his injury.

Wonder where supaclive is now… busy enough week for you now??
    I'm here!
    Two solid signings.
    Not busy, but promising
I echo I'd like Dobson to stay, CBT to stay or at least be replaced and a new striker ASAP

But these actions are much better than Rodwell's words on Wednesday !
Under promise, and over deliver, yes please.

No more signings please. Don't want to start building my hopes up.
Judge what they are like in the summer, kill the excitement.

Personally I think we are building for a big push next season, and we're using this window to get the foundations in place. As I've said before on many occasions the owners of our club are minted, and will want to make a success of it, even if it is for their own personal gain. Mr Friedman alone is worth 5b, and a very astute businessman. The summer window will be where we really push for signings.

Next season will be one to watch imo.

People can’t stop themselves from finding a negative spin on things. It honestly amazes me.
Don’t worry, plenty on here still!!

When is Isted back? Presumably we’ll need a keeper to replace Walker?

    From Twitter @League1news22

Charlton Athletic are interested Ipswich Town forward Freddie Ladapo

The 30 year old striker has made 63 appearances scoring 19 times for the tractor boys and gained promotion last season

Addick fans would you be happy with this addition to the squad?🤔

same account says JCH deal may fall through due to wage demands. We’ll see.

I don’t know why some thought they’d spend millions buying the club and covering the losses only to bring in frees and loans. They were always going to pay fees for players, just as RD and TS did.

It might be that it’s partly funded by selling players, but I have no issue with that as long as we end the window with a stronger and more balanced squad than when we went into it.
Exactly. If you are in League One for any time at all then you will lose/sell players. It's just how football is. And similarly, you WILL have to spend money to have a realistic chance of promotion.

So far it looks like we are addressing the issues with the squad but there's a lot more work to do before we are "ready."

Let’s just sign both JCH and Ladapo, and be done with it.

I thought Ladapo was more of a Karlan Grant type, rather than the hold up type target man that I thought we were looking for?

Ladapo is 6'1" so has a presence about him, but I think one of his strengths watching him is his versatility. He's pretty quick, but also strong, runs the channels and can hold up the ball, and can finish. That's what we want as it means he can play up front on his own if needed

    So he's Lyle Taylor 2.0.

Hopefully without the shitty end to his Charlton career
