  • Another manager payout coming…
I can't see them getting rid, he's their guy after all.
Hopefully they will go with him.
  • Don’t worry, it’s fine , apparently no chance we will go down …
  • Second defeat on the spin. Two wins in 11 League One games.
  • Fuck off Charlton. Going to the pub.
  • Taxi for Appleton
    Relegation  scrap incoming.

  • Can't wait to read the next batch of excuses, get the post match up 🙂

It will be the same script used at Orient.

Pep wannabes? This is nowhere near good enough. It’s fair to point out our manager is stubbornly sticking with some of his choices that haven’t been working over the last few months.
Of course it isnt... But have been pretty tired with the match thread tonight with so many using the power of Hindsight to say what the right set of tactics should be.

So many come out with what Appleton should do, but dont stop and think for one moment that their tactical genius could result in an even worst outcome

Do some people think Mediocre means awful? It means average. We're worse than that as it stands.

It means below average which is exactly what we are.

EDIT or so I thought....i thought it meant below average/ poor.

Luckily for us Cheltenham and Reading are drawing - as that’s the direction we are looking at the moment
Same thing that’s been said on this forum the last 2-3 seasons and we always end up comfortable.

Not what we should be happy with but no chance we’re going down.
Shouldn’t do but another window of Penneys, Killkennys, Abankwahs etc with Dobson and/or CBT moving on and it could be closer than the last few years. Need a big improvement in January over recent windows.

Sums us up.  Need a massive lift.

  • Didn’t see much of a response today did we. Apples is about as enthusiastic as a coconut.
  • What a surprise. No interview with Appleton on charlton TV.
  • cop out - no interview with Apples due to technical difficulties
  • It’s not possible to be that useless in the last minute consistently. Either they are a bigger waste of space than we originally realised or the players are throwing games on purpose now.

because nobody can let in that many last minute goals in a row. It redefines shitness to a whole new level
  • Bet Curbs wished he’d stayed in Mexico a bit longer, and watched the match on a stream.

  • No live interview with Apples tonight, being recorded for later transmission, read into that what you like, but don't sound good for him...we shall see
  • That has to be it for Appleton. It gets worse and worse.
  • cop out - no interview with Apples due to HIS technical difficulties

  • Not sure why Edun was getting dug out in the match thread. Not our worst player today.
  • No excuse for that…..free kick in injury time someone stand in front of the ball and stop the kick being taken

Exactly.  This is an embarrassment.  Total shitshow

Hardly a ringing endorsement of the management team their second appointment getting binned less than a year taking over.

  • Not against changing the manager at all but what’s the point anymore it’s the same old cycle. No one better is going to come in. This board isn’t going to properly invest in players either. Could usually rely on loans or youngsters bailing us out but that’s becoming less and less effective each season.

Weakest league one in a decade and we’ve not even tried to take the opportunity to get out of it. We’re weak all over the pitch with no squad depth. Must be the worst fullbacks we’ve ever had on the same team

  • Decent analysis from Brown there on that first goal TBF.

You can't keep blaming individuals. A good manager helps players make better decisions consistently through coaching and knowing their jobs etc.
