    With this England team having chased some massive targets, and this Pakistan team having so many Spursy moments, you can't rule anything out.

    Pakistan put on 57 for their final two wickets in the first innings. So far, they have made 50 and still have those two wickets intact. Those 107 runs, in the context of this game, are massive.

    On the flip side if Salman can score a Fifty on this 'day 8' wicket why can't England with their various X factor batsmen.🤔

    I still believe but we will have to bat positive and hope for not too many Jaffas on the 'day 9' wicket.

    We've seen in this last session the Pakistani batsmen slogging & sweeping without any trouble. What's the betting all our shots get caught in the deep.

    DRS currently not working. Carse seems to get a thin edge that is given not out but can't get it referred.

    We can't blame outer forces for the three catches, including the one that Bashir made no attempt to dive for, we've not taken.

    I doubt that it is easy to play on or, equally, unplayable at the moment. Have to be positive though, which we are, but shot selection and execution will be the most important factors on this track.

    Maybe not in the deep but our first shot in anger goes straight up & caught easily.

    why is Pope trying to reverse sweep when there are 2 slips waiting when he can execute a normal sweep where there are no men waiting to catch.

    We're going to be all out for about 85 here.

    And the 2 "big hitters" at the top of the innings have gone. If we were going to win this it was getting off to a blistering start so that Root, Stokes etc wouldn't need to hang around for long.

    It will all be over by Lunch tomorrow. I expect us to crumble & be all out for under 150.

    BBC saying that England's highest ever successful chase in Pakistan is 208. The highest by anyone other than Pakistan is 200 by Sri Lanka. Still, given that there's too much time left to even think about the draw, they really might as well have a go rather than lose by playing defensively.
