  • 192-3 (35)

Mousley coming on to become the ninth bowler England have used. Fully expecting Cox to bowl and then swap with Salt so the keeper can too.
  • We review a ball from Mousley that goes miles down the legside that Salt and the bowler Rutherford has hit. He didn't actually get within six inches of it and not only do we lose the review but the West Indies get an extra run and ball for the wide - the Umpire must have originally thought that it his the batter's leg.
  • Windies 328-6 (50)

I've not been watching that much of it but, by all accounts, we've dropped four catches including one from Salt when Hope was on 60. The batsmen went on to almost double that with 117 (127)
  • Soft dismissal in the deep for Jacks

This England team reminds me of the time when England picked a team of bits and pieces cricketers including Ealham, Fleming and Austin
  • Best thing about this series is Archer bowling in games so close to each other. Building up to a test match or two next year hopefully
  • Cox bounced out as a result of being half an hour too late on the ball for 4 (19)

    63-2 (11.2)

    Definitely one specialist batsman short.
When I see Curren at 8 I think strong line-up

When I see him at 6 I think the opposite.
  • Very good 53* (51) for Bethell

    156-3 (26)

Bethell at 4 is even worse. A position he never plays for his county/Hundred team.

  • 229-4 (40)

Exactly 100 required off 10 overs. At the same stage the Windies were 235-4.

  • Few better sights in cricket than Livingstone disrespectfully slapping it around the park.
  • Great knock from Livingstone
  • Livingstone has paced his innings to perfection - currently on 100* (77) having just hit Seales for 24 in the previous over.

    300-4 (45.2) and 29 needed off 28 balls.
  • 50 for Curran and 100 for Livingstone, a run a ball or so needed to win which should be doable

and Curran throws his wicket away for 52
  • Some of the Bowling from WI these last 5 overs has been suicidal
  • Incredible hitting from Livingstone though, three 6’s in a row off Shamar Joseph to basically kill the game off before a 4 from the last ball of the over

England win by 5 wickets with 15 balls to spare. Much improved and more mature batting performance with Salt, Bethell and Curran all reaching 50 plus 124* (85) from MOM, Livingstone - 46 off his first 57 balls and 78 off his final 28!!!

  • England win by 5 wickets with 2 and a half overs to spare. Livingston ends on 124*

  • Great knock by Livingstone. Really well paced, rather than thrashing it from the start.

Cox's England career hasn't started very well.

76 off 26 at the end, can be as slow as you want with that in your locker
  • So an inexperienced team that didn't get a proper pre-series warm-up played a lot better in the second game than in the first. Who could possibly have predicted that?

A great captain's innings by Livingstone with 124 Not out.
As Cookie said Liam went up the gears and in the end they just didn't know where to bowl to him.

The quality that he first showed 10 years ago has finally come to fruition now he's in his 30's.

Chasing 328 wasn't easy and pleased to see Salt, Curran and Bethel, score 50's.

Feels more like an England  A team but with the full calendar no great surprise.
  • India currently 59-5 having recovered from 29-5 , their target is 147 to win
    Pant not out 26
    Jadeja not out 6
  • India 102/6 chasing 147. They are flying by the seat of their Pant.
  • Haha, excellent
  • This upcoming Australia Vs India series could be an absolute trainwreck. Australia can't decide on a top order and India look miles out of form.
  • NZ beat India by 25. Pant scored 64 in a total of 121. 106-7 when he was out, then the last few were knocked over cheaply.

Don’t think you need a decent pair of openers if 3-6 can put on 150 against this team. Their inability to play spin is incredible, Lyon will be licking his lips
