There’s clearly no clue from the bookies POV, may as well have a small punt on Duff and Pearson at them prices.
Tempting to put money on a random no name outsider and watch the chaos on here
Finally discovered a form of betting on Charlton that I can get behind
But if the chat about Warnock is true then 18 months of him around this club would change our fortunes. Just watched him on Tubes golf channel, what a ledge.

I don’t think it would ever happen but our only hope is someone that (as I worded it) gives an adrenaline shot akin to CPR. We need that before we start gambling on a long term strategic fit
This is perhaps why it would have been wise to scout around for a Manager before sacking Appleton
Its no secret a lot of clubs take that approach these days, its how they're able to get someone new in so quickly, and avoid going weeks without a man in charge - We could also have had a better Deadline Day, with players "knowing" who the Manager is.
Just have to wait and see from more Official sources to see if this is true or not
If Jones has turned us down, and we end up with Warnock, we’ll be back on the carousel mid summer, and in a worse situation trying to recruit players and a manager.
The lack of serious long term thinking since appointing Dowie is stupefying.

"these days", it's been like that for years. Sadly not in SE7 nowadays.

I know its a bit different as Klopp has announced his departure
But could you imagine Liverpool waiting till the Summer before deciding to search for their next Manager?
Whoa there. Firstly we don’t know that Jones is out and secondly even if we he is and we go with Warnock we don’t know that it wouldn’t be longer than this season. Let’s just see what happens before we slit our wrists.

One of those managers who must have loads of great stories. Love his one about taking the team bowling. https://youtu.be/FwTARWMqCug?si=1-PjjBNBO-pX9VfH

See, he can travel South. Perhaps after his stint he's meeting Scott & Rodwell...🤞
However, it could suggest Jones is not happy with the involvement from Scott so where would that leave us getting somebody decent?
Not sure about Jones but if it’s a decline other than money then it’s an issue
Rowett the same, get a proper manager in ffs
Pay them show them the ambition
Scott needs to up his game and if gets this wrong then ta da
