Far too much praise directed at Chelsea the club for my liking.
Harsh. There were journalists there who probably don't even know Charlton existed. They were only there because we are playing Chelsea.

And 90% of the questions were about Chelsea. What was he supposed to say, without being rude?

I would of rather he was rude

That is the best press conference I've seen from Jones. No jabs or bravado, no getting annoyed at the press asking questions that aren't relevant to him. He's clearly so comfortable here, it's nice to see
In terms of stuff it was right up there  ;)

I wasn’t quite as convinced by the injury updates in terms of this weekend.

That is a f**king bizarre question to be asking the opposition Manager
I presume, and hope, given the way that Cawley has worded it, that he didnt ask that question himself

thought it was a very good interview, he seemed very relaxed although he did nearly chew his hand off at one point !!

I think NJ is a better coach than people give him credit for, his style of play at times doesn’t help him, but let’s not forget we’ve seen some good football under him, although some will no doubt argue that point. He thinks outside the box which is why we question things quite a lot. I like that interview because he didn’t sit there being little ole Charlton’s manager, he made it clear he expects us to perform and anything can happen. He had good respect for the opposition but his focus is us. People get blindsided by his antics on the sideline including our own fans, but he is a real coach, which is why things got better as time went on last season. I hope the boys put one over Chelsea for Nathan’s sake tomorrow because have no doubts it will be because of the way he has coached the team and prepared for the game.

Would love to see him resign at the end of his contract, I've just got a feeling he's really happy here. He's in the form of his life at Charlton and if he stays injury free will probably be player of the year again.

Definitely looked like holding his hamstring when he went off
