It was nice of him to still mention Dixon and being proud. Something not all mangers will do if their player is on loan!4

Not sure how I feel about Godden and Berry being "HUGE" players for us in this division.clive said:2 -
While I agree I think he was thrown by Terry’s “3 players” as it’s been mentioned on here that Bell didn’t travel and Terry was almost certainly referring to him, Karoy and TCcafc-4-life said:It was nice of him to still mention Dixon and being proud. I haven't watched it yet but did he say Sheffield united are a tough team and will be looking to put things right after getting in a new manager and that we have to do the basics right and if we are the best version of ourselves no one will enjoy playing us ?clive said:10 -
And it’s always a tough place to goSteven81 said:

he seems more relaxed and less nervous than usual .. I hope this transfers to his players who seemed a bit over stressed during the Millwall gameclive said:0 -

Good to hear that he realises he should have shaken things up with the three games in a week. Will be interesting to see team selection on Tuesday at Ipswich.2

I know we talk a lot about the fact that Nathan should rotate a lot more, but him talking about taking a look at the energy levels, makes you remember that he's not necessarily chucking players in when they're tired and just making them get on with it.
There is a much more data driven aspect behind his decision.2 -

Firstly I like Terry, but I thought the line of questions were a little odd, now I may be being NJ spikey here, is it in the thoughts we may go on a bit of a bad run?, basically our strikers aren’t scoring when’s matty coming back?, to me they felt negative.I could have written down what Nathan would reply to these sorts of questions, and I’d agree with one, I don’t care who scores and he is asking players to do more than goal hang.he’s not going contemplate any negativity and certainly not say it whilst sitting in 6th. Don’t think the tone was set well, just my opinion and happy to be wrong, just some thoughts.1

just watched it and didn't see it in that way at all to be honest - Nathan looks alot more relaxed in these press conferences this seasonSword65pf said:Firstly I like Terry, but I thought the line of questions were a little odd, now I may be being NJ spikey here, is it in the thoughts we may go on a bit of a bad run?, basically our strikers aren’t scoring when’s matty coming back?, to me they felt negative.I could have written down what Nathan would reply to these sorts of questions, and I’d agree with one, I don’t care who scores and he is asking players to do more than goal hang.he’s not going contemplate any negativity and certainly not say it whilst sitting in 6th. Ok fair enough, maybe Tel was emphasising we have to be cautious not to get carried away, and not that we didn’t win in eleven last time we had a good start are we going to do it again?.yes he is more chilled.👍Elthamaddick said:

I thought the questioning a bit odd too. Why reference something that happened six years ago, under a different manager, different players? It isn’t relevant at all.8

That was my thinking probably put into a shorter way 😂, just thought bringing up a negative wasn’t required as we are so on the up.LargeAddick said:I thought the questioning a bit odd too. Terry is not a professional.Sword65pf said:Firstly I like Terry, but I thought the line of questions were a little odd, now I may be being NJ spikey here, is it in the thoughts we may go on a bit of a bad run?, basically our strikers aren’t scoring when’s matty coming back?, to me they felt negative.I could have written down what Nathan would reply to these sorts of questions, and I’d agree with one, I don’t care who scores and he is asking players to do more than goal hang.he’s not going contemplate any negativity and certainly not say it whilst sitting in 6th. I don't think he's paid other than expenses.0 -
Jones handled that question very well. Earlier on in his Charlton career he would have pulled a face and given back a sharp responseLargeAddick said:I thought the questioning a bit odd too.
