In answer to the earlier question it seemed easier to create Southendaddick on net addicks and then this site all those years ago as I’ve mainly lived within 10 miles of the place
Not sure many on here would know the nearby towns..
Says more about my lack of imagination for a username than anything else 😂
Burnham-on-Crouch? My late father in law lived there and I did once see someone in a Charlton shirt in Tescos car park

I ran a project about Sam Bartram for the CAFC centenary at the request of Ben Tegg. Worked with local Charlton schools, so they would know who he was before the unveiling.
We made a film linking the 1998 play off final with the 1940s Wembley appearances. It was called Bartram the Blitz and Beyond hence my username that I created to publicise the film on here.
We later got lottery funding to archive the Sam Bartram collection of ephemera that had been left in a suitcase in the West Stand. Greenwich Heritage Centre wouldn't take it so got lottery funding to have it housed at Bexley Archives. Created these resources as part of the project. This is a good opportunity to paste the link for those who might not have seen it to watch it. The film is about family and how supporting our team binds one generation to the next. I thought none of my daughters could be persuaded to keep things in the family, but my youngest is now firmly addikted.

Such a fraud, though the missus still runs the guesthouse.

Did someone suggest Canvey Island 😂😂😂
Only go there for the boys football matches and even that’s painful
Ps it is in Croydon but closed in 1996.
I can confirm that Macron no longer manufacture our kits but that I continue to masturb...
