Quite honestly the fact Brian Kinsey wasn’t already in the hall of fame amazes me. 377 games. Just wow.

Ralph Allen, very few people if anybody alive today saw him play for us, played 52 games for CAFC and now is a 'Hall of Famer' ? .. Yes, the result of a fair vote, BUT ..

Nostalgia ain't what is used to be

    Missing the point.

That few people now alive saw Ralph Allen in his record breaking season is just why the HOF fame vote is done in three eras.

Otherwise, the vote would be won by current or recent players every time.

On why wasn't Kinsey in before?  He is one of the first 39 out of 988 first teamer and that's not counting the 100s of pre-1921 players.

So, actually, he got in early and deservedly so.
