R.E.G.: 8 - Made a huge difference to our back line, hope this injury isn't long term. THOMAS: 5.5 - has been really good last few games but made quite a few errors tonight. GILLESPHEY: 8 - His ability to recover and make goal saving tackles/blocks has won us a lot of points over the last month. Also has a wand of a left foot. T WATSON: 8.5 - best I have seen him play in a Charlton shirt. Looks more like the player he was at MK dons. COVENTRY: 7.5 - Another good performance, his defence splitting passes are sublime and got stuck in, tired in the second half but to be expected. DOBSON: 7.5 - struggled a little first half but was really good second half and a lovely assist. ANDERSON: 5 - He's allowed the odd poor game given his recent performances, looked a bit knackered and couldn't find a red shirt all night. SMALL: 9 - Wow, he is going to be special - terrific performance again. The selflessness to ensure Alfie got the goal his confidence needed is incredible from a 19 year old who has been at the club a month. 99% of players shoot in his position. MAY: 7.5- So glad he got the goal you could tell he needed that, played well all game but probably should have had a hattrick. Hopefully that goal can bring his confidence back to where it was earlier in the season, his ability and attitude have never been in question. KANU: 8- His hold up play has improved so much, never gives up and got a deserved goal. JONES: 7 - Came on and won everything in the air, personally would have him in over Thomas. Think its showing some good signs for squad but areas need to be improved, we need a new Goalkeeper next season, one the squad actually has faith in and has experience. Isted looked like he lacked confidence last night IMO, like he was scared to make a mistake doing the simple things. Anderson is young and this is what you will have matches where he just tries to hard. REG looked great last night and a shame he had to come off. We need another striker aswell, Kanu ran his socks off again but another body is needed as we cant rely on Aneke and Leaburn to be fit.
