I use an (old) Apple iPad and for some CL sites I occasionally get the front page in large type and am unable to proceed to the next page.
An example this morning - tragically - is the predictions competition where I am unable to send in my picks and continue my descent to the bottom.
Heres an example of what I mean :

@blackheathen have you tried changing to the desktop site to see if that helps? Failing that, try clearing down your cache.

Thanks aliwibble. All a bit double Dutch to me but there will be family coming round later today and we’ll try out your suggestions. Thanks again.0

I keep getting unsolicited emails from CL, each one headed '(Do not reply) Charlton Life Support' followed by ' (name) commented on League One 2024 (Non-Charlton) summer transfer window' etc. Any suggestions? Have I clicked on something by accident requesting comments to be sent to me?0

There’s a star next to each thread.
You've highlighted it by accident I’d say.3 -

@Blackheathen you’re in Reader mode on the iPad. Look at the URL bar and select “Aa” in the corner. You’ll see the reader option.0

You’ll never believe this, but a couple of days later we received at CL Towers a signed delivery letter from the Promote Offering Relevance National Organisation. They trawl the internet to ensure Promotes on Uk forums are being fairly awarded apparently (sound a right bunch w***ers to me). Now, they had ‘grave concerns’ that while it was an excellent story, the work and congratulation of the piece was firmly in the hands of young Mr Dobson and not @Henry Irving (they used the terms Promote Freeloader and Promote Sponge which incensed me a little, I don’t mind admitting that).
Anyway, knowing full well the man of honour that you are, I know you’d hate to be embroiled in such a potential accusatory scandal. You don’t deserve that, no one deserves that .So in protection of said honour, I moved with haste (bloody quickly I can assure you) to remove the Promote that had been awarded.
i don’t do this for thanks so please, there’s absolutely no need to. I’m just glad I could be of help in this instance.10 -
I'm in tears.
I never thought that such kindness and consideration would be shown to me by you @AFKABartram as you never seemed the type.
Clearly @aliwibble is a trouble maker but I hope she has learnt her lesson, so much so that as compensation she is forced to make the "buy a season ticket for the lego valley" thread a sticky.6 -
