  • The Jets teasing my new found love for this sport before doing, what I now understand to be, "Jets things"
  • Christmas Day games on Netflix only. Not a good move by the NFL.

Genuinely curious as to why you think it’s a bad move?

I think it should be on both channels. Sky has done wonders for the game in the uk and if their customers don’t have Netflix they won’t be able to watch the two games. The uk times are perfect for us to watch live. Quite a few people will be pissed off about this. We are still trying to grow the game here.

It’s a worldwide deal though right? So not just about the UK. And Netflix has 17m UK subscribers which Sky Sports probably won’t. I don’t think any new audience will be watching the Christmas Day games here anyway

Surely putting it on Netflix that has around 280m subscribers worldwide is helping to grow the game?

A regular season NFL game will be watched by an average of less than 30m.
  • I’m on about the uk only.
  • If you don't already have a sub, take one for one month at £4.99. Cancel it immediately, watch the two games and then everything else for the rest of the month. If household financial pressures make that impossible, you probably don't have Sky to start with anyway.

Netflix is included as part of Sky TV.

Sure but it's a global deal. The NFL aren't going to do a global deal except the UK otherwise there's no point in a global deal

  • I’ll be honest……I think my NY Giants will struggle to make the playoffs now.
  • If you've not seen it yet check out last night's game. The chargers scored a fair catch kick, the first one in almost 50 years, you may never see another one
  • What a rubbish time for Jackson to throw an INT!
  • And then the Ravens D come through with a pick 6! Crazy start to the 4th quarter!
