As a neutral, I'm happy this is how it shook out. Definitely want the Dodgers to win just from growing up in LA and having a lot of Dodger fan friends. And I just generally dislike the Yankees like every non-Yankees fan.But it's nice to see the two best teams in the World Series. Last year felt like the two hot teams made it to the World Series. This year we get the Judge/Soto Ohtani/Betts mega-showdown. I like having it alternate between the two. I would hate it if the favorites made it every year, but I like it happening some of the time. Should be a good series.2 -

I just love being hated. The reason for the Yankees is it’s the 1st baseball game I went to and have been into baseball iever since, so the Yankees are my team I’ve seen them many times because I love NYC and also seen them play at other MLB parks when I’ve visited the US… And for the record I hate Man City and I’m not a fan of Basketball and Ice Hockey’😀.MrOneLung said:

Wow, what a finish to the game last night. Looked like the Yankees had it won when they went 3-2 up in the 10th but Freeman's Grand Slam wins it 6-3 for the Dodgers. Shades of Kirk Gibson. Go Dodgers.0

Hilarious self destruction from the yanks in the 5th inning as they throw away a 5-0 lead. It was like an amateur team came out for the inning: Judge dropped a simple routine catch, Volpe messed up a straightforward throw for a forceout at 3rd then Rizzo was so far off of 1st he couldn’t make a simple ‘ground ball to first’ out because Cole (whose pitching had been pretty flawless all game) didn’t bother covering 1st base. Dodgers piled on 5 runs in the inning to rub it in and came back again to take the lead in the 8th - a lead they hung on to.
Dodgers win the World Series 4-1.Dodgers are definitely the lesser of two evils, but mainly it was marvellous to see the Yanks choke so badly.0 -

Brilliant that the Dodgers have done it, but what a mess from the Yankees in the top of the 5th to let us back in. Add in the catchers interference call in the 8th to set us up to take the 7-6 lead it was a game the Yankees should have won. Glad it didn't have to go back to LA but with Yamamoto likely to start Game 6 I think we would have got it done then anyway.0
