Just finished the series Ingoberable starring Kate Castel of La Reina del sur.  Quite enjoyed it (and I think my Spanish is getting better) although I did watch with English subtitles.

Just watched ‘You Are What You Eat: A Twin Experiment’

The experiment itself was interesting, but the show really could have done without the lecturing about climate change, farming practices etc.

Like most Netflix docs, it could have been told in max 1-2 episodes but they dragged it out to 4.

Wicked Little Letters didn't raise as much as a smile from me.

We watched it in the cinema and thought it would be ok for a easy watch on something like Netflix but wasn't worth the cinema trip tbh

I watched it on Netflix. I really like both Olivia Colman and Timothy Spall, but the story was held up by rude words. That was it, the story is crap and obvious.

Ozark is a good series. Brilliant performances from Laura Linney and Julia Garner.

Yeah, very good series and 2 superb actresses. One of the few shows that I’ve gone back and watched again.

I really like the 1st series, quite brutal in all directions. But typical of Netflix and American dramas that are successful they get milked for successive series, the sub plots get endless and generally too drawn out into too many episodes. Saying that Ozark is one I have stuck with and enjoyed, although for me, series one was the best.

Thanks for the tip. Watched the first episode and think I’ll stick with it. Reminds me a bit of Lie to me.

Do you not find it a bit samey? I like throwing it on every now and then for some light relief, but each episode is essentially the same thing.

I like the Beatles. But throughout the film all I wanted to do was punch the main character in the face. So unlikeable.

I never felt that. Part of me does wish that there was some attempt at an escape.

I thought there was a thread dedicated to Netflix recommendations but unable to find it.

Baby Reindeer is a disturbing watch but excellent acting.

    The Final was quite rubbish.

Green Frontier worth a watch if only to see the Amazon people.

In the Land of the Saint and Sinners - enjoyable.

Pablo Escobar El Patron del Mal was excellent

Just watched that. Thought it was pretty good - much better than expected. Some good performances and Neeson was good too - much more believable than some of his other films.

Has anyone seen “Sunderland ‘til I Die”.  Concerns the total passion and loyalty of Sunderland fans and is a documentary following fans after their demotion from the top league in the 1970’s.

I haven’t watched the programme yet but my daughter in law has just phoned up all excited because in the second series (which features the season after) a Charlton match is featured.  We were playing in yellow and lost 2-1.
