I either hadn’t noticed or it hadn’t been mentioned that Ali Maxwell will be part of the presenting team. Having a neutral might stop it being too nicey nicey
I hadn't noticed that. Slightly surprising that he would do a club Q&A session like this, but he knows his stuff, indeed I'd like to see him give his opinion of the club and our team.

If he wants future work from the club, then he might not want to be controversial this evening and rock the apple cart
His podcast etc is about covering all EFL clubs, he's here I assume because he's genuinely interested in what's going on at Charlton, rather than because he wants lots of future work from us.

I bet he's not doing this tonight for a labour of love. He would have negotiated a fee
I don’t expect he’ll be throwing accusations around but by the same token it should give the session a different vibe by having a neutral moderator in the room.
It’s not just Charlton he’ll want future work from - he’ll want to uphold some level of journalistic integrity.

Obviously. But that doesn't mean he'll deliberately ask easy questions to get work, as he has professional credibility to look after.

I don’t think he’s hurting on that front. Should probably give up on his career and try something else if he’s hanging around the Valley looking for bi-annual moderation gigs.
Someone will ask about The Valley as they of course should, I agree it is the most important thing for the long term of our club. Sadly CM will simply say that the negotiations are left to our owners as they know how billionairess think so are best places to deal with RD and that will be about all we get. It is what has been said before.
I'd not be surprised if Carter answers that question, Methven will want to avoid flak.
They will have rehearsed their answer already.
Well let’s see what happens. Be interested if any of the few questions I’ve sent in get mentioned.
so the United game the other year was worth 750k to us glad that has finally been settled as I know there was some dispute about that on here at the time.

Bombshell
Should put these things on a better time. Maybe 8pm next time?
