Championship, League One or League Two fan? Your team will be live on Sky Sports at least 20 times next season! Matches will be broadcast live across existing Sky Sports channels or on the brand new Sky Sports+
That’s going to include six midweek fixtures, four international weekend fixtures, two festive fixtures, two Easter fixtures, opening day fixture and final day fixture.

That leaves four other fixtures (two home, two away?) that will be moved through the season - with the potential for extra listings later in the season if the team is doing well.

Overall, it’s really not likely to be as disruptive as people are fearing.
    You're having a laugh.
What’s funny? Obviously no change to the status quo is preferable but it feels like people are expecting games to be moved every other weekend and that’s not true.

It’s going to be annoying when a game does get selected and it’s going to be especially inconvenient for those who go up and down the country. Not trying to get away from that fact.
A top 6 team will see the fixture times moved a lot I imagine.  @clb74 has a point.

My miserable mate does 75% of the aways tbf to him.

Our opening game is away at Crawley. At 17.30. On Sky

I wouldn't bother opening the away end

    I thought it was Wigan?
    He’s a Blackpool fan

Be lucky if I do 12 games home and away next season.
August ,September,  October looks like I'll do one away.
Not about for reading away 31st Aug, thought about wigan away and then see 5.30pm kick off.
    You can poke that.
Bad enough getting trains home from the northern games at 3pm.
Anyway this new TV deal will save me over a grand and seeing as I have Sky I'll be able to watch on the tele , like the majority of people like doing.
  • Wrexham away as the last away game now feels like one that will be moved for TV.

It had felt like an ideal time for it, with no chance of postponement.

That's my only new ground, of course Mansfield is midweek for those who didn't do the Sunday lunchtime match.

That's looking a long way ahead, for all we know we could both be fighting relegation.

    That Mansfield cup game.
12 of us were going till it got changed till the Sunday.
4 of us topped up going

Easy to say it's not much of a pain if you don't go to matches. First game of the season and we're already at the mercy of a single (slower) avanti train back to London after the game.

It's hard enough following your team away with the trains as they are, and hotels aren't cheap even in the shit northern towns in this league. All this extra agg just to be shown on the red button ffs - it's a joke.
If 6 or more Saturday 3pm kick offs are moved then I’ll hold my hands up and say my assessment was wrong. But I think you’re trying to argue a point I wasn’t making.

Perhaps I just won’t comment on fixture scheduling again, it appears I’m not allowed any opinion on it.
  • Do we know what time kick off is on our first home game against Leyton Orient?

Televised games for Aug and Sept due out soon, so we will know if any of our kick off times or days have been moved

Yes but it's not just Wrexham, it's League One and Disney Plus's Wrexham
  • Will next weeks game against Dartford KO earlier as England play at 5pm?

    Very good question.

  • A positive is that because Dartford were relegated you can now drink beer while watching the game!

No, Dartford have asked UEFA to move the England game to 6pm.
They'll have to move it to 8pm so I can get home to watch it.

Not a problem, England won’t start playing until 6.55pm

  • whats the point of having a season ticket with those kick off times?  Probably couldn’t make half the games if I had my old life.  World’s gone mad. Thanks Sky.

Exactly what I am thinking, is it worth getting a season ticket now
totally get that point - I think if I didn't have a ST I don't think I'd go at all, certainly wouldn't pay on a game by game basis with other ways of watching it
  • dartford have asked CAFC to move it to a 1pm KO. Just waiting for us to confirm apparently

That's inconsiderate, we can't just change our travel plans at the drop of a hat.
I would guess that they have greater concerns with the clash. Changes will always disappoint some and please others, but safety and making a profit will decide most things.
  • Is there a risk of more pre season dates being announced soon ? Desperate to take my boy to The Valley on a non league game so.he can get a taster.
  • 2pm now
