Referee to blame for this entire second half. He wanted this.
    Lol whatever you say @NELR_Gooners
  • Ha ha brilliant. Serves the time wasters right. Wanted arsenal to win at half time but don't deserve it after all the blackpool- esque cheating,

Sorry but that’s a mental take

You can't be serious? A goal up and a man down away to Man City, what were they supposed to do, go all out attack second half?

    Lewis-Skelly gobby little bugger
  • lol!... Did the referee decide he'd had enough and blew the whistle.

Neville said before the goal that they'd go to 99mins, but didnt bother adding anything on beyond that, after the goal, and then the extra handbags between Haaland and the Arsenal defence.
  • That's Oliver's summer holidays paid for.
    Deary me…

Think the ref done well there all things considered
  • Will wait to see another team get punished for kicking the ball away this season.

I mean Charlton have already had a couple of bookings for it happening.

Nurse, this man hasn't taken his medication!
  • City got away with it in the end but all things considered that's not a bad result for Arsenal.

Taken 7 points from away games at Villa, Spurs and City.

    MOM in my book.
  • Grealish was instrumental in that pressure. We should have taken him to Germany
  • Is Theo Walcott on his way for a remake of Zoro?

Anti football imo. I'm glad they didn't get the win.
  • Same ref that didn't bother to send off Kovacic last year.

    No surprise really.

    City were awful second half.

I'm glad they didn't get the win either, but any team in the world parks the bus in that situation away at City.

Even Real Madrid parked the bus there in the CL last season and that was 11 v 11.

  • All day long you have to park the bus.

The timewasting was on another level and they got what they deserved.

    Question for @SELR_addicks

1 - was the first foul a yellow card?

2 - is kicking the ball away after a free kick is given a yellow card ?

Just answer yes or no please. No need to add anything else, just want to know your opinion on those two incidents
  • Main thing for City today isn't the 2 points dropped, it's how long Rodri is going to be out for.

Wouldn't mind the red if the Liverpool player was sent off last week and Doku booked. All 3 incidents reffed by Oliver.

The inconsistency shows it is only being used when it suits.

Yeah I know you're right but I can't stand Arsenal so there's no reasoning with me over this

Think the Doku one is questionable, Oliver is clearly saying he wants the ball moved back 5 yards for the FK and Doku kicks it about 10 yards. Can see why he doesn't book him

In the whole of that second half I think City only two or three times tried to go on the outside and Grealish was responsible for delivering the best opportunity from doing just that. I don't understand why inverted wingers feel that they always have to constantly check back and pass it backwards to the full back (who are also aren't providing them with the opportunity of the overlap). City ended up with crosses diagonally from deep or shots from 25 yards that were either blocked or miles over the bar.
