Man City failed to kick the ball back for arsenals first goal when the free kick was taken in a different postcode to where the foul took place . fuck em gooner cnuts
Does that really warrant a Red Card? - Or does it just need a final warning?
Difficult job as a referee
kicking the ball away has been a yellow card offence for 30-35 years now.
You would think they would know the rules by now!
Yeah but like a lot of rules, they’ve tightened it up. You used to have to boot it miles in the wrong direction before the ref would even think of getting a card out. Now they’re given for a lot less than that. And I’m all for it. They’ll soon stop doing it. We see it every other week at Charlton - players kicking it away, holding on to the ball or doing that stupid high throw into the air. If it’s not your set piece you shouldn’t even be allowed to touch it. I get that it’s nothing new and it’s “game management” but I’d be happy to see it eradicated completely and as I say, players will soon stop doing it now they’ve tightened up the rules.
Rodri is the lynchpin of that City side even more than Haaland , if he's out for the season as rumoured it's an enormous blow. Guess they have to use Nunes now
Nunes, Kovacic and Gundogan isn't the worst midfield to have to cover the gaps until January though, when I expect them to sign someone for the rest of the season at least
Pep Guardiola: "There is no team that is wanted to be more beaten than us here in England".
"We felt it, we smelt it: Man City again! They don’t like us, at all!".
"But it's ok, let's go. Let's try".
Is it not actually the complete opposite? People don't mind City winning because it stops United, Liverpool, Chelsea, Arsenal etc.

Anyone who still feels this way has something wrong with them tbh.
That said, the existence of an immovable elite is the bigger problem
Man City mean nothing to me I don’t know any City fans so have no gloating mates giving it the big un
but as for Liverpool , Man U, Arsenal , Chelsea , Spurs , West Ham etc I know loads of them cnuts , fuck em may they suffer in the footballing sense forever

Starting with Kovacic and Rico Lewis in midfield at Newcastle today. A lot of trust placed in Lewis who seems to be able to play anywhere.

The bloke is blockbuster.
Unlucky Arsenal, cheating gits.
Could be out for season.
City need to get through to 1st Jan still in touch at the top and then buy a replacement or it's Arsenal's title.
The Friedkin Group has reached an agreement to buy Farhad Moshiri's majority 94% stake in Everton.
The deal is subject to regulatory approval from the Premier League, the Football Association and the Financial Conduct Authority.
It is believed to be worth in excess of £400m, leaving Moshiri with little return on his substantial investment.
The US-based group is led by chairman Dan Friedkin, who also owns Roma. He has a net worth of £5.7bn according to Forbes.
Already has a good relationship with Parish... However he's a bit of a Rockstar CEO, whatever that is.
Especially as it increases the chances of the unthinkable bloody happening.
