Not quite true, Millwall have never been relegated from the Premier League, for example.
But I get what you mean! Weird league this year - Forest, Fulham and Bournemouth feel like they should be all top half in the Championship not the PL, and Spurs and United are bottom half.
Ok correction. Six of the original crop (since 1992) Liverpool Arsenal Chelsea.
And three of those are in the bottom half. (Man Utd, Tottenham and Everton)
Yes, Brighton and Brentford (don't know where you are getting Millwall from) are in the bottom half and not been relegated as well.
Spurs starting lineup against an in form Newcastle won't fill any spurs fan with confidence 😬
"Look mate, I must've run over a roo because we now have a sickness bug to go with injuries, and Son and Madison can't play every match and we had to give Austin his debut and he has been with Spurs for 17 years ! Things are so bad Werner having to start and that wouldn't happen unless we were desperate. Fuck a dingo we need a change of luck"
Keeper Brandon Austin is 25 years old and signed a new long contract with Spurs in 2024, despite only ever having played on loan 14 times for Viborg (Denmark) and 5 for Orlando.
* Keeper Stuart Taylor 75 Apps in 21 years from 18 year old to 39 !

Just that you could say any team that's not been in the Premier League haven’t been relegated from it - Welling, Real Madrid, The Golden Lion over 35s etc etc.
Mainly was just a way of mentioning that Millwall have never been good enough to make the Premier League.
Injuries have clearly played a massive part of this but it is refreshing, nonetheless, to see so many England qualified players involved in the same match day PL squad, especially with so many of those on the young side too. There are 21 in total (almost a team from both clubs with 10 from Spurs and 11 from Newcastle) and it would be interesting to learn what the greatest number of England qualified players there have been in the PL on the team sheet:
Isak has been hot and cold today as he missed the sitter in the 1st half and now brings shithousery to his all round game and takes an age to leave the pitch when his numbers up.
Southampton with 6 points from 60 after 20 games surely can't finish with less points than Derby in 07/08 with 11 points ! I don't think they will but being thrashed 0-5 by Brentford who hadn't won away all season doesn't augur well.
Lopetegui surely on his last legs. Bet Moyes is having a silent snigger.
Moyes decided to leave West Ham when they finished 9th. The team he must be having a LOL at is Man United who sacked Moyes when they were 7th in late April when they failed to finish in a Champions league position several years ago. Now Amorim is talking about the possibility of Man United being relegated if they don't improve !
I think there’s a reason Pots hasn’t managed since the Chelsea sacking and I can’t see him rushing back now. Especially to West Ham where the fans won’t give him much time at all.

That's a humiliating result for Southampton. It's one thing being stuffed at home by a "Big 6" club, but to suffer that fate against a Brentford side with a limited budget and no away wins is embarrassing.
In the 3 games since Juric took over, they've lost at home to West Ham, lost at Palace and been stuffed at home by Brentford, all 3 being amongst the easier fixtures they'll face this season!

1-2 and Geordies win again.
Spurs played well 2nd half and Archer should asked for at least a League 1 loan.

Always struck me as a weird appointment. Potter in before the end of the window??? I know they have injuries but that sounded abject today.
