But he went elsewhere for regular football, Stevenage, and has gone on loan again to get regular football. Think you are well wide of the mark. If anyone is to blame it’s whoever sanctioned the fee and a four year contract.Crispywood said:

When i first saw him on the pitch he looked painfully slow and i know its been wIdely reported he had a hip injury for a long time but he never looked comfortable for us.0

But he scored one goal for us, against non league Southend, a last minute FA Cup winner.
He could have celebrated with the fans he scored right in front of, but instead chose to give them a ssshhhh sign instead.

Heard the deal involves a good loan fee and 100% of his wages - trouble is we’ve had to pay both just to convince someone to take him.

Saw on one of the discussions earlier, going back to when we signed him NJ said that he was our No. 1 target !!! I've mentioned it umpteen times on here (sorry) that before we even signed him & had only been linked to us I called him out & said that he simply wasn't good enough for us. Cambridge will surely only be paying a modest % of Gassan's wages but it makes complete sense to (hopefully) get him playing games again and proving his fitness over a period. I can't see us getting a fee for him but it may prove possible to get him off the wage bill in the fourth and final year of his contract.
Good luck to the guy - he's had a very tough time with injuries.0 -

Scored twice in a 2-2 draw at Burton Albion, including a stooping header that resulted in a stud to the head and a big bandage being applied.6

Sometimes a player and club just click, maybe him and Cambridge are made for eachother.

CAFC have moved on and we have Leaburn, Kelman, Godden and Mbick to chose from as the central striker and Grant, TC, Alli and Nkeng for the wide positions.
We/I'm just saying that Stockley could do a good job for Wimbledon and Jackson. If he gets a good service from the wing so he can attack the ball as opposed to balls going over his head then being the top scorer of headers in the last decade in the EFL will be a positive.
Leaburn is a better number 9 than Jaden, though Miles does need to add goals to his game to go with his improved strength at taking on CB's.
I hope both Stockley and Gassan have good seasons especially the Gas man as we need him off our pay role ASAP. It's not personal just a football decision.
Who ever decided to give a 4 year contract to Ahadme needs to explain the rationale behind it?
