Did Miles make it to Slovenia, or is he still at St George's Park? I understand the need for a separate programme, but it would be nice for him to be able to mix with the rest of the squad as well.
Doesn't look like he's there, imagine he's at Sparrows Lane. The St George's Park thing was 6 weeks. Looks like that October return date people have mentioned is probably accurate at this stage
Any idea why his injury is taking so long? I don’t think other players with the same injury have been out this long, could be wrong of course?
Hi hamstring injury was about as bad as they get without fully rupturing it. They are being over-cautious as it’s the type of injury that if not rehabbed properly could seriously affect his career.
They’re far more cautious about these injuries than they used to be, I believe when you’re younger they heal a bit quicker to the extent you can play again but they haven’t fully healed.
Michael Owen is a good example of what the later stages of your career will be like if you don’t look after the injuries properly when you’re young.
Why are they all blowing out their arse after jogging for 40 seconds?
Probably because you're only seeing a snapshot and it's been much more than that.
It's curious because Karoy is on the floor going "Just 40 seconds more work..." They seem to be doing 40 sec jogs with a break in between. Maybe there's a sprint in there or something. Would love to know what the actual drill is, because they look knackered.

I think it’s 40 seconds to get up to the marker and back so you’ll be getting more and more tired with players dropping off as it goes on , bit like the beep test.
the clips in the videos are the arse end of that when everyone is knackered
I'm referring to the bleep test they did at Sparrows Lane - not one from Slovenia
and I'm told this particular person came back "cut like a steak". Massively ripped apparently and I have to say when I saw him at Dartford I was surprised how much he had bulked up

it was Zach Mitchell
Great stuff, Zach !
Shows just how determined he is to be in Nathan's plans following his disappointing loan at Colchester last season.
I think you have to be impressed by the preparation that Jones has insisted on, and that the club have backed this. We may be the best prepared for the start of the season that we have ever been, and I doubt many other Div 1 teams will match this.
Not saying that’s not accurate but how do we know ?

That’s because he trained away from Charlton last year. Everyone always gets fitter somewhere else 😂

I wonder if anyone could guess who came top….
answer will be put up in a bit
Dobbo would still be running it
Last place I'd go Ramsay, or Docherty.
