Would imagine Godden replaces Aneke at half time.

Brilliant too from Kanu to make the run, hold it up and lay it off to Aneke

Kanu will be ahead of Godden I reckon... He'll start with Aneke or Adhame

We saw how much Jones loved him last season
I’d be shocked if it’s not Ahadme and Godden first game. I like Kanu and he’s looking good in pre-season but I just don’t think he’s technically there yet
Don’t disagree but I’m sure he’ll make plenty of appearances for us rather than be sent out on loan.

Playing in a better team will help him a lot, as well being a player who works hard to improve his game.

The mass changes obviously will favour the prem side given the huge numbers of players in prem squads compared to us league 1 sides.

Just goes to show what having some proper preseason work in you can do for a team. We can make a Premier League team look ordinary if they're coming back off nothing and we're sharp. Makes you think more about how much Holden set us back last season with his lads lads lads approach to preseason. We looked knackered from the very start and it's no surprise given how lax the preparations were
Will Abbott is no doubt the other factor behind that though

Very encouraging, quality goal and lots to feel positive about. Really hope Taylor comes good, came across as a decent bloke in the Slovenia videos and it must have been very frustrating for him last year.

HT 0-1, great finish from Chuks giving us the lead, looking forward to the second half, and what changes are made...
I think they said they'll be changing the whole 11 at 60 mins
If chucks lasts 60 mins I’ll be astonished
He'll probably come off now, to be fair, actually, maybe for Gas. Then the rest will be changed at 60.

I can see us going on to get a second and a clean sheet,...this could be a very good pre season for us...

Looks like Palace are unchanged too... Surprised they're not playing two 45mins teams

Kanu looks a bigger lad than Aneke from what I've seen of them today?

Taylor is like a new signing 😉 (although he actually is)

His hold up play has been really impressive, especially in this game.

I remember the excitement when we went two up at Millwall and a player called Charlie Kirk scored in the 1st half; ended in a Desmond and it was another false dawn.
I expect better under Nathan Jones as he has a plan to how he wants CAFC to play.
For it comes to fruition is the hard bit !

Interesting seeing Hylton on for Chuks, are they gonna give him a player/coach contract, if not then why play him when better on the bench...

Hylton could still come off at 60 mins. Stops us overplaying Chuks while the rest of the squad continue with the 60/30 plan to build up minutes.

Strange how his career stalled so badly at Spurs.

Wonder if its also to ensure that others stick to their Pre-Season schedules.

Godden - Adhame can still play 30mins this week, and 60mins next game, meaning they don't end up playing more minutes than originally planned

Given Godden's age and Leaburn, Ahadme and Aneke's injury records I'm confident Kanu will end season with most minutes played out of all 5 strikers.

    I mean…

I know we’re not to get carried away, but I’m almost certain we’ll win the league and possibly the league cup based on that.
Sadly it also means that Millwall will win the Championship and possibly the FA Cup 🙈

Sess was incredibly highly rated a few years ago, injuries made him lose his way a bit. If they can get him fit he'll be a good signing for Palace (unfortunately)

Hylton has been brought on to kick the Palace players.
