    Normally I'd say that there's not much point in having a triallist if you don't use games to check him out but Jones is the one who said he knew all about Hylton and didn't need to see him so who knows? Maybe he just really hates Palace players' ankles.

    It does feel that Jones is still evaluating players, playing Hylton, Edun and Potts ahead of Godden, Berry and REG.

    Interesting that Jones has given Mannion, Isted and Maynard-Brewer all equal minutes so far.

    Until we sign a number 1 I don't think he knows which one he'd go for yet

    Not especially if it means that he's not really thinking that ANY of them are definitive No.1 choices as it suggests we are still looking for someone to come in and make it their own.

    If that doesn't happen, THEN we're in trouble.
