Really surprised by the Rotherham results so far. 10/1 for the title before a ball was kicked and now out to 33/1. Not sure anyone expected Steve Evans and Rotherham to be outside the top 6 this season.
Far too early in the season to get any picture of how the season will pan out. You always get one or two teams putting an early run together and then fading and likewise you nearly always get a team starting slow and then start to climb up the table after a few games. You need ten games at least until you start to get a true picture.
Not sure I totally agree. Take Millwall as example if you lot after 5 or 6 matches after 8 points behind Oxford/Plymouth in the table you’ll be thinking we could be in trouble here.
Rotherham have not score a single goal in opening three matches. I think that’s fair enough assessment to say Rotherham probably won’t finish above Birmingham and be in the top 2 come end of the season.

Evans having a meltdown already too. Already reprimanded once by the FA and had a pop at the Wycombe manager today from the looks of things
A huge surprise they haven’t started well. 8 points gap already on them. Very much hoping we can play them in two weeks as they are there for the taking.
Rotherham have been the big losers. Stockport have been the big winners.
Rotherham signed a bunch of experienced players on the down slide of their careers. Sure they had name recognition for fans but there is always a risk that the natural downward progression outstrips experience for some of them. So it is not surprising that they haven’t met their high expectation - that being said by the end of the season I still expect them to be a top half of the table squad and potentially in contention for a playoff spot.
I feel like we have taken a more balanced approach over the last year with some experienced players like Berry and Docherty but also younger players with potential like Edwards, Mitchell, Small, Ramsey etc

We are notorious slow starters. Every season we stutter a bit for the first half a dozen or so games. Hence why the Millwall relegation thread gets bumped so early on here each year lol. But of the 7 seasons we’ve been back in the championship, 4 we’ve finished in the top 10, a couple of times we’ve finished comfortably mid table and only once have we flirted with relegation.
I don’t take any real notice of the league table this early in the season.

Millwall aren’t real relegation contenders. Similar to Palace who occupy the bottom 3. Just IMO I believe there are a select number of the clubs who even after three matches are probably already taking notice of the table for the right or wrong reasons. Shrewsbury are another one of them. Team heavily fancied to be relegated and already propping up the table won’t go unnoticed with the betting punters.

67 minutes Ward comes on as a sub for Huddersfield. 72 mins he's sent off. 74 mins Huddersfield take the lead. 76 mins Rotherham equalise from a penalty.
Awful play by Bolton for the 4th Huddersfield goal.
Happy we moved away from trying to play that way. Good to watch when you dominate and win games comfortably, but needs so much to come together for it to work consistently enough to win promotion. With the budgets some clubs have at our level and in the Championship it's not the way to go for me.
