Anyone know why Burton tickets aren’t on sale yet? Is there a chance of it not going ahead because of the IB?
Burton called their game off in the last break because they had international call ups, so I think it’s very likely it is postponed. They signed about 30 players this summer so there must be more than 3 internationals in that lot

The ground holds 6900, the away allocation is 1775. Play it on a Saturday and potentially that away end could sell out. Play it midweek and it’s on Sky and even their own non ST fans might give it a miss. For a small club that income/cashflow loss would hurt.
Burton had 5 players called up for international games last time, so I think there is a reasonable chance it gets called off.
Max Crocombe - Number One Goalkeeper Terence Vancooten - One of their starting Centre backs Tomas Kalinauskas - 6 League appearances, 3 of which were starts Alejandro Bran - No league appearances so far Romelle Donovan - 2 sub league appearances
Given the first 3 are pretty important starters/squad players if those 3 get called up I'd imagine they'd be keen to get it postponed.
First time at Stevenage... Is there a dedicated away fans pub?
Not really but away fans are allowed in the new main club house which is opposite the away end . They used to have a bar near the away stand called Stripes but I’m not sure it’s open anymore.
Don't bother with the town center as it’s a dump .
There are some nice pubs in the old town but you’d need to get a taxi to ground from there .
Any tips on how to walk to the ground from the station? I assume it's not directed? Thanks in advance.
Turn right out of the station and head for the retail park which is past the roundabout. The ground is the other side of the retail park . Not far from Burger King and KFC . Just go under the underpass to get there . It’s about a fifteen minute walk .

Google maps has it as a 27 min walk, just pay £5 for a cab.

It’s twenty minutes max and that would be at a leisurely pace. Plenty of taxis outside though .
I think that's saying turn left at the ticket office when you get up the stairs which is correct ( way too much information) but it a right turn when you actually get out of the station.

Just to help with this ... the Guide says turn left as you leave the booking office. That takes towards town (ie you are then walking East).
You then turn right, as Beds says, to go South towards the ground.
