Sounds like Another Campbell is on his way if Cawley tweets it.
What is Kanu going to learn away from Sparrows lane that he can't learn from Matt Godden and being in the 18 about forward play ? Leaburn will have to go some to be up to speed the way Nathan Jones wants to play and the last 4 years tells you Chuks body is made of glass and will have an issue sooner or later. Ahadme will burn out with the work he having to do in this pressing formation.
Daniel Kanu is the one forward who could play for 100 minutes if need be.
We will be recalling Kanu within weeks if he is sent out on loan.
It's a surprise they are loaning him out for the season when he's out of contract next summer but maybe there is an obligation to buy if we get promoted or some such.
If he’s out of contract then there’s no benefit to Luton if we sign him at the end of it.
It’s likely a loan because they just want some of his wages off the wage bill and couldn’t find him a permanent deal, probably because he’s not going to take a pay cut to move permanently. A bit like if we were to loan Fraser out now even though he’s out of contract, we’d still do it to save some money on his wages because a permanent deal is unlikely
Andrew Shinnie and Elliot Lee were similar loans from Luton for players in the last year of their contract. Indeed we signed Shinnie on a short term permanent deal that season to get around the loan player restrictions.

We have Adhame, Aneke, Leaburn, Campbell, Dixon and Godden who can all play up front.
I know it seems to be popular consensus on here that we shouldnt loan him out. However Kanu needs to playing games, it’s not fair on him for his development not to.
This is a players development and we cannot stunt that planning for a worst case scenario.
Considering how much fitter the team are looking this year under Will Abbott I just don’t see him getting a look in.
Refreshing to see the relatively old school approach of going after the managers targets rather than some technical director or whatever title Andy Scott had during the mess of the last two windows he was involved in

Although it was Scott who was castigated by some for saying he wanted to sign players who didn't want to sign for us ie those looking at a higher division than league 1.

100% - its the way of the world - why not sign people you know when you can rather than relying on data or recommendation

He’ll get game time and that’s exactly what he needs. First team football. He’s not going to get that with us at this moment.
Never heard of him until now. 43 games in a promoted championship side of 22/23 season is an impressive pedigree.
From an outside perspective playing for Millwall on loan under three managers it’s understandable why he probably didn’t play as much he would have wanted.
Also had three injuries at Millwall.
This is why he didn’t play much for Wall.
It shows that some post without knowing the facts 😀
People saying Karoy and Kanu need to go out on loan! C'mon these two were brilliant for us last season FFS. Getting older more experienced players in doesn't mean you have to ship your prospects out. It actually gives the management the option to use the boys when he needs to and not flog them cause they are the only option! Never heard of Allan, but hopefully he does well. COYA

I really like both of them but define brilliant?
I'd say they both did brilliant on their own terms, i.e. for being youth players coming into the first team. We need players who will do brilliant on L1 terms. Neither are tearing up the league at this point but with more experience they might.

Feels like it’s going to be an exciting season.
He'll fit right in
...I know different spelling but hey, who cares...🙄
