    People on twitter saying Root has only scored so many runs because he plays on ‘English roads’. Wouldn’t bother me so much if they weren’t the same people saying Anderson only got wickets because he played on green top pitches in England. Which one is it then you thick twats?

    Old people.

    Had the misfortune of having to go into my doctors this morning. Been referred for something but they got my old address, so had to queue to see one of the delightful (or not) receptionists. The amount of entitled old pricks that pushed infront of me was outrageous, I ended up laughing and rolling my eyes at the receptionist who just smiled back and said ‘I must be standing here for nothing then’. The other receptionist on the phone piped up ‘I’m on the phone so you’re not waiting for nothing’ not getting the sarcasm in my original comment. C***s the lot of em.

    I was listening to Ian Bothams podcast a couple of weeks back and he was saying pretty much the same thing about the whole team, in that the pitches and the light is different in Australia to England and we should adapt. Also how unprepared we are and that we flash the bat at every ball. I thought he has fallen into the same old ex-cricketer who knows the answer to all problems now that he doesn't play anymore. 
    I remember Botham playing, very fine player when in form but I do remember him having more that a few off days.  Not that he's on telly anymore Geoff Boycott became a much better player once he retired and started telling everyone what shots to take and those to leave. He was like taking Mogadon watching him open for England.

    Families that park in Parent and Child spaces, and then one parent gets out and the child and other parent stays in the car...
