  • Draw about right on the day. Not our best performance but at least we got something out of the game. 10 points from the first 5 games is a decent return.
  • Not satisfied with that result
  • Ok 10 points from 5 games is a good return, BUT 4 of those 5 are in the bottom half.
  • Thank you all for the updates.

Not sure how I feel about the game and result.

    Feeling both lucky and unlucky.
  • 10 points from 5 games. Decent start to the sesson.

The fact we only had  1 effort on target is a worry
  • Would have lost that game before Nathan. Good showing by Tyreece and great goal by Aneke. Fair result and even thought not pretty quite enjoyed it. A Campbell looks good too.
  • Thought T.Campbell was brilliant today and A.Campbell did not look an upgrade on anyone we have in the building on that showing, would rather Karoy but not writing him off after 1 game

Offered more than the other 3 today. Definitely needs should be starting next game

There's about three or four points separating 10 teams or so in that range so "bottom half" isn't really much of anything at this point.

how many times are we going to keep giving that type of goal away, terrible coaching imho.

Do you need to be taught at this level to close down the space?

    Same problems again.
The failure to realise we'll draw / lose games in a season? ;)
The one shot on target actually.

Every game ends up being fine margins like this because we cannot create more than a small handful of chances. That isn't promotion level attacking play.
  • Thanks everyone.

As was not there. But I will guess it was tge way we conceded the goal and quality of our play that has people concerned.
  • A point is better than none and fair spoils. Didn't play badly but didn't dominate either. Not the team that wins promotion,.... Yet.
  • Another season of league one beckons.
We are nowhere near good enough to go up
Can't see another league one season beckoning, we are good enough to reach the playoffs at least, then it's just a lottery, but I have to feel positive...

We've seen from the Birmingham game, and today with Small / Berry when they hit shots from distance over... that having any type of effort on goal can go in your favour, or against you.

If we'd had 10-shots on target today, we'd be bemoaning how wasteful they were.

  • Dreadfull game officiated by even worse officials yet strangely decided by 2 of the best goals you will see in the world.

Just got on the train back home and found our midfield on it. Asked where they had been all game.

    Defending...🤷‍♂️

Kinda proves then that unless we hit from distance we can't create meaningful goalscoring opportunities. That is an issue.

Its a potential issue yes... Five games in, its still not a clear issue though.

Like the calls claiming that Adahme is useless, we cant truly judge how a season will go overall at this stage of a campaign... Minds get made up far too quickly with Football now, not sure why
  • A statement to the rest of the league from the boys in red.

    I changed my mind FA...🤞🙄
  • Cracking goal and a good spell of pressure between their goal and ours. Other than that, it was all instantly forgettable. I hope the more positive posters are proved right, but it feels like it's gonna be a long season with nothing to show at the end of it. We're just not creative enough.
  • Very frustrating. Well done Chucks. We are one point behind my home and away target but are averaging two points a game.
Shrewsbury is now a must win in my view.
  • Thanks everyone, over to the post-match thread.
