Stevenage roll call

Who’s there on Saturday?

Myself and Jnr (no doubt extending a ridiculous winless run so you’ve all been warned)

Yep, 11 minute train trip for me
  • I'll be there for the Thameslink derby. Let's hope for a better result than the Lizzie Line derby.
  • Yep I'll be there. About 10 minutes closer than a home game for me.

I’ll be there . Ten minutes down the road to me .

A word of warning. The car park opposite at Fairlands park might be restricted or shut because there is the circus in town . ( insert your own joke )
  • Yep.

Park at the one right next to the ground, saves a unnecessary walk anyway

Ah ffs ! There's definitely another which would make sense for a fair, the one by the ground seems a bit of a schlep. Will have a look, cheers for the heads up
  • Me and my youngest are going new ground for me

Just been looking and the fair is on the high street in the old town, we should be fine.
  • I'm going, haven't been there since a pre-season friendly which must be 20 odd years ago.

Not the one in the town . That closed. I think there’s one in the old town but that’s quite a distance away .

We went into the one in the old town a couple of seasons ago but we has to get a cab to the ground.
  • I’m reluctantly going with Peter Kay and petrol head , boffin is at Birmingham uni and little shit didn’t want to go (nor do I ffs)
petrol head (16) who a good few years back wasn’t in to football is soon to be renamed Charlton head , he wants to go to all games now and kicked off we wouldn’t allow him to go to U21s last week and is moaning about not being allowed to go to Bristol rovers or whatever shithole midweek fixture we have next week , it would be too tight time wise from school and no way am I going there .
I’m fuming, I’ve hated watching us in recent years,  if they played in the garden I’d pull the curtains put it on the telly and fall asleep .
Petrolhead went in the home end last year with a spurs mate who goes Stevenage occasionally .
I went with boffin for his first away game in 2011 and the 0-1 loss .
I’m a football snob,  this is all too non league for me and that’s a different kind of freak show altogether
  • Unfortunately ill be there, guaranteed 0 points :D

I am beginning to wonder if the game will be called off due to the weather  or whether the trains will be running for same reason.
  • Senior and I will be there.

Probably driving, where is good to park?

I found this website for parking, £4 in Tesco for 12.30-6pm. You can probably risk not paying, but there's more than likely a numberplate system in place if they are charging. Only a 5 min walk.
