  • HT 0-0...not classic but we are dealing with whatever they try and throw at us...a point is not what we want and could see us stepping it up second half...

How many attempts on target have we had ?
Well its 0-0, so even if we've had ten... they'd have been wasted
  • Another 0-1 win incoming
  • How many attempts on target have we had ?
According to BBC, three shots, one on target
  • Think the bright start was in part due to them working out our formation change. Aneke on for Godden on 60 mins would make a difference but hopefully we can do something before then
  • We have one player who is looking a threat and that is Tyreece Campbell, Kanu isn't in the game and Godden is trying but once again getting no ball into him. I don't want to see Coventry on a dead ball kick again, he simply can't take dead ball kicks. Get Aneke on for Kanu.
  • This is exactly what Stevenage play like. It’s why they’ve conceded only 5 (same as us) and scored only 5 (two less than us).

Play for set pieces and hope one goes in.

If you thought watching NJ’s Charlton was a chore…
  • Another game with zero attacking quality.

  • I mean, that's a fairly standard half from us this season, isn't it. Painful to watch and created nothing.

I should've gone to watch Cray Wanderers after all.
  • How many attempts on target have we had ?
    Not enough, Golfie

  • Started ok without threatening. Have got worse as the half wore on. Set plays absolutely shocking again. Final ball in open play has been no better.

Kanu looks utterly lost at the moment.

Stevenage look dangerous from set plays and you get the feeling that if we keep conceding corners and freekicks eventually they will make one count.

Another game where I've struggled to maintain any level of interest TBH. Been dull as f**k.
  • Stevenage have conceded one goal at home so far season: from a penalty.
  • Another game with zero attacking quality.
    Harsh on Tyreece Campbell

Coventry's free kick that went high and wide. Godden's shot on the cut-back that went high and wide.

    What else?

Edwards narrow shot wide... was that the one on target?

He's been alright to be fair to him. Glad he's playing in his proper position.

But 1 out of 3 means we can't do anything going forward other than TC winning free-kicks that we'll waste.

Edwards had a shot “saved” that earned us a corner
  • Our 5 strikers have scored 4 goals between them this season, and this is the 10th game. They May get better, lets hope so.

  • Very little quality there. I don't remember a shot on target by us, and Stevenage finished the half stronger.
Kanu really isn't convincing at the moment, and is an obvious substitute option. But this really is a match best described by the word meh. So no change.

As said, we fizzed out as the half went on and Stevenage came into it more, Aneke on to drop into the hole with TC and Kanu getting ahead of him would help, or Berry on with Godden and TCampbell.

Saying that, Kanu really hasnt offered anything, won one flick on and thats it.

Ah yes, thanks. The one they reckon the keeper didn't touch.

Dont worry, our current crop will continue to Hunt for goals
  • Poor game but strangely interesting.  Kanu and Godden are making me yearn for Ahadme which I guess says something.  Kanu and Anderson look national league quality to me.  Couldn’t bear Brownie so switched to the Stevenage stream.  They are berating the referee for giving a free kick for every tackle (not just by us I hasten to add.  My 50p on 0-0 is looking good so far.
  • At the game. Rubbish as usual. In Jones we......

We got a corner so assumed keeper saved it.
  • Not enough guile in our midfield this season to create decent opportunities.
