    Restrict our allocation at The Valley for all the freaks who turned up for Charlton v Wrexham but have been missing since .

    Yes, as a business that is losing money at a crazy rate; let’s give them 2000 less tickets and lose out on an estimated £60k (based on £30/ticket) !! 
    So your reasoning is it’s better to get the ticket money from 2,000 away fans than try and sell them to Charlton fans ?

    and of course there is the little matter that promotion is the main goal and the money from that instantly pays back multiple times over…and even the trip to Wembley on its own will generate a significant bonus

    I agree, I was suggesting that the club would put them on sale regardless. Having said that, Mrs GA has booked a cottage about 10 miles from Wrexham for the Friday & Saturday.  Meaning the game will probably get moved to the Thursday or Sunday.

    Also distance has an effect. Easier to get to Wycombe at12 30pm if moved so, than Wrexham.

    Exactly, nobody will be staying in hotels for that game or for a day trip trying to buy advance tickets on the trains either.

    At the moment you can still get advance return tickets for under £50 return from Euston if you split buying tickets at Crewe.

    Then again, yep they'll probably move it!

    The EFL would not allow Charlton to restrict Wrexham’s allocation in a play-off leg at The Valley so the point is moot.

    Could it be moved to a late kick off on Saturday, especially if they can get promoted and their Yank fans can watch it.

    Its what it is...EFL took the money from the recent SKY deal and handed over the fixtures to the broadcaster to decide and us mere fans are just given only 1 month's notice on KO times. It will be moved thats for sure....hopefully to earlier or later KO on the Saturday as a Thursday night KO is clearly logistically problematic for most fans, but that won't be a consideration when SKY decide. A Thursday evening KO, will stop me going as my son and I can't take time off. An expensive train ticket or long drive or overnighter awaits for those that get tickets.  Its probably academic If away allocation is only 800 tickets, as i won't qualify as I don't have Valley Gold and so I will watch at home. Lets see what the EFL in their "lack of" wisdom decide.....one thing for sure is for those going to the match from south london the KO time won't be a consideration...EFL will decide on what gets the largest potential viewing figures : advertising revenue etc....Hopefully we will find out later today?!

    1284 seems to be the figure I’ve seen. Hopefully that’s what they give us & not reduce it, if they have a chance of winning promotion from the game. The only new ground for me this season.

    I assume the EFL have no say in what individual matches get moved. They've agreed a deal with Sky, and if Sky want to move us to lunchtime or Thursday, then they have total freedom to do so.

    This whole Sky thing is a shambles, was only because certain clubs owners got out of their tree about clubs like ourselves and Derby investing in in-house production services and not using the notoriously unreliable iFollow.

    They really should be giving more notice.

    It's not like we get to 27/3 and suddenly "a wild Burton Albion appears!" in the playoffs so they go on TV.

    Sky looked online and saw loads of fans moaning about Leeds being on the telly all the time and trying to appease the moaning minge bags they decided to put everyone on the telly , be careful what you wish for

    For me we should be looking at ways for our club to boost all the areas that Wrexham are out performing us in, that or get open handed multibillionaires.

    There are degrees of risk. Wrexham are likely dependent on a narrow pool of (overseas) sponsors paying big bucks; if you build your domestic ticket revenue then you will have more resilience because there are more decision makers. The Netflix option won’t be available to the majority of clubs, so it’s not really a model for others to copy, and it won’t continue forever.
