Their fans really do think they're something else don't they, I mean, "Give him another 5 games" stuff...WTF, they have just come up from league one, and already they expect top two stuff, time they had a reality check on where they have come from and show some humility ffs...
To be fair, with 30 Million+ spent, they should be doing better than they are. Parky won't last the season.
    I thought I was being fair... ;)

    Rooney? 🤣🤣🤣
Was completely in jest 😉 just thought it would funny to see Reynolds and McElhaney working with him after Tom Brady chewed him out in the Birmingham documentary.

Nice bloke, decent manager, has had plenty of game sin the Championship and just doesn't seem good enough. Win rate of under 20% I believe for 150 odd games.

Would it then be Wayne Rooney's Wrexham? Not sure if the Hollywood set would enjoy that.

Although Rooney's Wrexham has a nice rhythm to it.

I’m not sure that’s totally fair I appreciate they have spent big but I personally don’t think they have bought well but also I don’t think he is good enough regardless

Agreed. The money they’ve spent this summer, hasn’t been spent wisely. Coady being the icing on that bad cake.

But it’s like us. Unless it’s been catastrophic like Sheff Utd, Anyone judging a team’s results too negatively after 5 games needs to give their heads a little wobble. It’ll always take time to gel.

Say it quickly and it sounds like Rooney's Rectum.  I shall call them Rectum from now on.

Watched the Wrexham highlights at the weekend and though I have been critical of him, if TC can run at that backline or Coady in particular, he will tear them a new arsehole!

Agreed on both points, but when you spend that money you shouldn't be getting rolled over like they are.

Surely not referring to Lampard who's actually done a great job at Coventry

The two i've seen listed as favourites for the job are Danny Rohl and Gary O'Neil. Both would be pretty decent options.

Given it’s Wrexham I think they should get Robert Downey Jr in or Javier Bardem to play the role of a football Manager

Don't think Parkinson is Championship level and with the amount of money they've spent I don't think they'll be waiting too long to find out. Can see Danny Rohl being there at some point

And when Hollywood FC get battered each week we can look forward to the headline:

    Wrexham Rohled over again

When do we play them? Parky should probably book a holiday for that weekend as undoubtedly they’ll announce Mourinho or some other world beater in the run up to our game

I watched the documentary and it could well be down to editing but not once did they show Parky talking tactically, just lots of get stuck in, be aggressive that type of stuff. They’ve spent a lot of money on solid Championship players but a few are knocking on now.

I think that’s an editing thing. On a lot of football documentaries you don’t see much of that stuff, probably because the managers wouldn’t allow it being shown

Not saying he’s a tactical mastermind, he’s probably poorer tactically than most managers at this level, but there will definitely be plenty not shown on the doc

8th November - reckon Parky will be long gone by then.

Some pretty good deals on trains to Chester at the moment for those going. We booked yesterday…..
  • I was looking at getting the train from Exeter while visiting someone, 4 hours and a hundred quid a pop!  Fuck that.

As it's Hollywood F.C. it'll almost certainly be switched to televised before then, anyway...

They've already made all tv selections until January
